you should make the trip up one day since you are kind of close by. @ToyDojo = life if you are a collector of bots and other random things. they literally have a little bit of everything in that shop.

 

Wow thats great to hear, really wanna go now. All i have thats near me is a gundam shop and a comic/toy shop that occasionally gets cool bots. Although the only reason the bots are there is cause someone sold it to the shop.

It's a great figure no? I liked it so much I tracked down the metallic version (original metallic, not toy) as well. The metallic is by far my favorite figure and Megatron isn't even in my top-5 list of characters.

looks epic and thanks for the new pics i can't wait. but i do hope/wish that he doesn't come with the decals applied. i feel like it makes him look a little too busy.

 

Could this be an updated mould? The head doesn't look too small and/or the chest too big.

 

Nah, I recognize those proportions. Mold-wise he isn't any different than the metallic version I have.

 

nope...they just go some good pics. in hand the bot doesn't look nearly as boxy as it does online.

 

I didn’t know MS used decals, I assumed this was all paint… this is the “hair on the chest” model, right?

 

i thought they were the rub on decals like the set that came with s-dub. so i hope that actually is the case.

 

If it came with out the decals it would have been the perfect silver Megs for me

I'm on the fence for buying this guy.. already have original matt toon Megs and metallic 'red legs' Megs... Metallic toon is tempting....

Yeah I don’t think it’s worth it. I actually like the red inside of the legs, even though it’s not toon there are a lot of references to it in comics, and I don’t think it detracts from it in any way, quite the opposite. Plus the matte version can always be used if I want more toon. But meh, the red is cool, still looks like Megatron to me.

 

yeah, I agree. I really dig this new metallic Megs, but I like red toy legs Megs a smidge better.
For photography I like using matte figures, because metallic reflects too much light for my taste.
