It seems like the thickness of the 'mushroom' on sweeping is slightly too thick for the port on Compressor. At first, mine caused some plastic deformation, which made the port even narrower. I had to trim a tiny bit away, and then it went in ok.

Vehicle mode! I actually feel like the SS Bee might scale better than the MPM, but what are your thoughts?

I think SS Bee scales a little better. Could you show us them in vehicle mode together too?

I definitely think that MPM BB is in perfect scale with the OS SS KO from Blackmamba; I’m hoping Sweeping is close to the 1/32 deluxe scale as SS Bee looks too small and mpm too big

Sorry I already put that bee away! But maybe tomorrow.
Most of the DS figures are not MPM scale. I think you're right that something in-between would be best but for now I think the SS figure is closer. Plus I'd rather a decepticon be a little too big than a little too small, especially since it's a construction vehicle where most people don't know the exact scale anyways.

Yeah SS is much more in scale with most of the DS figures. Take Scavenger and Optimus, for example. 5032DA31-BC2C-4C46-9945-9B34B82056D5.jpeg

Forgot about that pic! It also highlights how tiny Giant Axe's head is compared to how big it should be. His head alone is bigger than OP's entire body almost!

Wow, I didn’t realise just how wonky the proportions for this figure were in comparison! However, I still don’t mind how this figure looks as a whole (pic before the additional fingers were applied). 6FC8BDD6-8EAB-4FD8-BE45-241B73CC12B1.jpeg

EDIT: in that prototype pic, his head isn’t actually fully clipped in. You might notice the “ear” pieces aren’t flush to the rest of the head, making it look smaller than it actually is. Still definitely too small though. B7BA88E1-576E-4310-B609-558744F6691D.jpeg 5DE8531E-7F4C-4A8E-B95A-09F0716356EF.jpeg

Yes I think the DS Devy is a great, wonderful Devy in a SS collection. He is a bit bigger than the ss Devy and also all the single robots and vehicles are ss scale. Only exception is Split and his Mpm-04 scale, but I think that's just because Devy's head is enormous in comparison to the rest of its body (as he also was the first release, he made all us think DS Devy would habe been Mpm Scale) In fact SS Devy's head it's too small, because Mixmaster is made to scale correctly with its team mates. That said, Sweeping seems to be inbetween SS and Mpm scale. I'm still waiting for some good pictures of the Bulldozer mode next to Split/Mpm-4 truck to see how they look together.
Sweeping Botmode looks to scale good with Mpm-4, Ironhide and the old Deluxe cars (Battle Blade bee, Deluxe Sideswipe and so on). That's why he looks better to me with ss Bee, which is just a bit smaller than RoTf Deluxe Bee.
Anyone who could help with pics and comparison, please show us your Devy :D :D :D

Looking forward to seeing some comparison pics of a completed DS Troublemaker (once he gets his right arm) alongside Hasbro's SS version. Photos taken from all angles etc too.

Yeah the proportions in the concept art are a bit different since they changed the arms up and some other areas. But the size of the head is the main issue, as is the size of the wheels. The wheels should be like twice as big, but the bulk of the DS figure is in the torso, when he doesn't even really have a torso in the film haha!

EDIT: So I just checked AGAIN on TF-Direct for the status of my Compresor, which shipped almost exactly a month ago. It's been 3 weeks since tracking updated and they haven't been responding to my messages. They're usually pretty good with customer service so I don't know what the deal is. Anyone else having issues with them? I know shipping is slower in China now but my Sweeping got here in a very reasonable amount of time all things considered so I'm a bit annoyed. My devvy needs a crotch!

I thought that pic was photoshopped. Am I just dumb? Is that their actual scale?

I don't have both figures on hand, but I do recall SS Optimus being rather short (most of the SS figures are) and Giant Axe might not be proportionally accurate but he is a bulky boy. Just off the top of my head, I could believe this scaling is accurate.

Love the first shot, feels like it’s swimming towards us!

I do wish we more variety than just city or sand based combat environments in the movies; imagine something like the Forrest battle but with rampage writhing his way through a swamp!

That would be amazing! The constructicons were woefully underutilized in the film, although seeing them dive to the bottom of the ocean was dope. I imagine that he doesn't always "bounce" around but rather slithers like a snake in bot mode most of the time.

The deep sea six scene was great, ROTF had such unique designs and just the way they moved had so much potential as you say!

Loved the little we did get like ravage crocodile swimming over Megs :D
