Depends if they put him in a cartoon or movie beforehand. I'm all for commander and titan scaled Battlestar btw (tho midget Megatron would be fine with a leader lmao tiny man)
Love it, especially the sword and the helmet. With some paint he'd be perfect, might pick him up. I also would love to see a toy-inspired custom/Toyhax set, the way the legs look remind me of that.
He looks cute, but I'm perplexed they gave him a sword as his accessory and not a couple of tiny guns. Although it does look more conducive for the "energon weapon" gimmick, and Hot Rod having a sword isn't without precedent. Still, not what pops to mind when I think of the character.
I totally agree. The engineering just looks sub-par compared to the other Core Class figures and the paint is lacking… until I get the ToyHax for it
This looks.....weird? Definitely is not the SS86 version of Hot Rod so I would take this as the "interpretation" of a WFC trilogy Hot Rod. A new refreshing desing for the character, I will wait until we have better pictures of it to have a final verdict.
I assume his leg is mistransformed and not folded up properly. If not, Roddy got some nasty megaleg going on.
this looks pretty decent for a legends/scout/core class, whatever you call it figure. but daaaaang them legs got some SERIOUS kibble
SS Hot Rod transformation was likely too hard to do on a core-class, but I dig him. He seems to have a cool nose-guard thing going on.
I shouldn't have been expecting much for Core class but he looks a lot rougher than I imagined. He's more stylized than the others, and not in a good way. Somehow it makes him look more boring. Maybe it's just the lack of paint in robot mode and the ugly wheels that are hurting him so much.
