I see it too. I’m assuming they mean they’re in every store but my local one…haha…. I ordered a B.A.T. from BBTS and can hopefully score a second one from Pulse to justify my premium membership. Alley Vipers aren’t my thing.

Online pre-orders that are easy like the Alley Viper and BATS are how buying toys should be. What we buy is supposed to be geared to children, so buying it at a retail environment is "poaching" as you are taking away the access and availability of the child's toy. In recent years, children have a much smaller age range (0-9 at best) and it's shrinking, before toys are irrelevant and the wireless device takes over. Also, some of us value our time over "hunting" (do you hunters use a knife and spear, or a firearm), it has been written many times, looking for toys at retail costs gas and time with limited results.

I do still pop into the toy aisle when I go to Target or Wal-Mart but I've been looking at nothing but empty pegs all year so the desire to do so is gone but I still pop into the aisles hoping to find anything I'm looking for only to leave with milk and bread instead.

Hold on...I usually end up leaving with alcohol too so I guess its not a total loss but come on already..

I think that is simply intended to refer to the fact that you can buy it in-store, not a declaration that it is in stock at any particular store. When it is in-stock you get the “Show In-Stock Stores” option.

Same here, especially after seeing people post pics of their Target or Walmart, always hundreds of miles from me, but same old empty pegs for me.

Firearms hunter here. Faster and less suffering. Loud and cleaning guns can be a bitch sometimes. :lol

In all seriousness I hunt because I enjoy the hunt. Sometimes just going on a drive is really fun and I love my weekend drives.

Anyone find them on Amazon yet?

Also, no Pulse either. What is going on with Pulse lately? They haven't listed the Hero Quest Knights pack. No AV or BAT yet either.

Posting an order confirmation showing how many x number of dollars you spent on how many x number of figures at once is just as much a form of bragging as posting a picture of it in hand, imho. You're just saying "hey look at what I just bought" instead "hey look at what I have". I mean, sure, you can say you were just posting it as proof to a disbeliever but let's be honest, the end result is still the same, to give everyone a glimpse into how impressive your collection is or will be. That's not a knock, mind you, just how I see it. We all do it to one extent or another.

I only got a few of each but I've never been much of an army builder. I'd rather devote my space to unique individual figures rather than copying and pasting a bunch of the same ones. To each their own.

I think it's because they all share the same assortment dpci, in stores. The online services go by the individual figure numbers. So yeah, there are some Joes in stores, but they could be any of them (and most likely not these 2).

Those $14 Classified Joes at Bargain Hunt? Those things are real. Picked up an extra Firefly at my local location. Was really hoping for someone else from the Cobra Island assortment (like the regular Viper) but I'll take what I can get. Too bad they didn't get army builders.

Sorry, but isn't that part of the fun of collecting? To show off your collection?

I mean, I love taking tons of action shots with my figures and if I wasn't doing that, they would just be collecting dust. I love seeing photos of people's figures, especially when they have full armies as I love seeing what they do with them. It also gives me ideas for my own shots.

In gi joe adjacent/ninja army builder news, articulated icons green ninja and purple ninja dropped to $8.99 each. Purple is a little too purple (West Coast Avengers Hawkeye purple) for me but I LOVE the green ones.
