Just paid off my V-Shadow at TCP. Feeling a little naughty double dipping on colors, but got-damn does this bot look great in black and red! I don't think I'll be able to bring myself to put the powered set on it...
I would like to have a single gamma for a not ridiculous price. But if they don’t re-release it I’ll be happy with a squad of the upgraded version!
Looking at Ebay, pricing isn't too bad yet but it is pretty sparse. Honestly, I wasn't very impressed with DA-64 especially when it came at the same price point as DA70 but didn't include nearly as much stuff. I only bought it for the weapon accessories and even then I was disappointed the turrets didn't match the ones that came with V-Max. I have been fighting the voice in my head that says I need a 2nd one just so I can have (4) matching turrets.
Maybe I should sell my Gamma lol. Didn't realize they were sought after. This new one coming out does look pretty awesome though.
Sold out at all retailers, and as @Kio said, it’s pretty sparse on eBay. Also, the blue one doesn’t appeal to me as much as the black one does. Now that the Gamma Versaulter is coming out though, I think it will satisfy my Gamma needs very well. I really like what I’m seeing so far with that one.
I was going to ask what you guys were talking about since last time I checked they were $40, yeah just checked mandarake and holy crap $80. And I thought Epsilon for $60 was nuts. Still regretting passing on that one.........oof.
Got my Triramblers yesterday. These dudes are pretty cool, it's gonna be fun customizing them with the rest of my Vers figures.
Quick question about amazon co jp for those who might know. If I order a couple preorder items and one in stock item, it shows a single shipping charge at check out. Will I be tacked for another shipping charge once the preorders arrive in stock? Also, does Prime service get you free international shipping? Edit: answer to second question is no.
For those who don't need their Gamma in OG black, the DA-30 Cosmo set is still around. $80-$90, but you also get Delta. Picked one up from TCP last month.
I see you are in US. There are a couple of factors, but the short answer is that shipping is per shipment, not per order. There are no holds before shipping. Once it is in stock, it usually ships. If the item is from a third-party seller, you may not get a reduced price when combined with other items as it may be precharged as part of the sale price. If you were a US Amazon customer without Prime, it is just like that. Amazon.co.jp is completely separate from Amazon.com; you'll have to create a whole separate account. (It isn't like Amazon.co.uk where you can use your same login credentials.) Also, note that many sellers on Amazon.co.jp will not ship outside of Japan. (Some won't even ship to all locations in Japan.) On the up side, most of their shipping is with DHL and is pretty darn fast. (I bought a book one time from a vendor after midnight, so early Wednesday morning my time, and it was in my hands Thursday around noon; and, that included going through Chicago customs.) Most of my orders have arrived in a week or less after shipping. Gamma is an awesome tank, but Delta is the most multifunctional of the PS Maneuver suits! I would just love for that one to get an upgrade like the Gamma.
Ooh! Great call! I’d forgotten about that one and I’d be happy with a Gamma in those colors too. In fact, I suspect there will be a Gamma Versaulter in that style as well! Another great call! A Tactical Mover Delta would be awesome and seems like a logical inclusion for the new line.
Thanks, I've been using amaz.co.jp for most of my diaclone purchases. I've only purchased from a third party once prior and did not like the packing method (box damage) so buyers beware. I found it odd that the shipping charge when combining in stock orders with preorders did not equate to multiple charges. In hind sight they would probably require me to authorize an additional shipping charge once the preorder items arrive in-stock. Going to play the waiting game and find out if that is true, if it isn't then this is the way to do it from now on. I know if I order an instock item combined with a preorder from amazon US, I only receive one shipping charge at time of purchase, not sure if they conduct a similar gig.
Unless it has changed, I was not charged for preorders until in stock and that shipping was charged at that time. The in stock items had their shipping charged separately when shipped.
