You do realize that not everything is meant as an attack against other individuals. I read that as a humorous somewhat ironic comment because I haven't found products at retail in a long time. Feel free to laugh once in a while,it's not that serious.
I certainly envy people who can walk into store and expect to find something cool. That optimism has been beaten out of me, and so I order online or I don't get the product. I check the toy aisle when I happen to go to Walmart or Target or wherever, but I won't make specific runs for them any more unless I absolutely have to for an exclusive or something.
I don't particularly care for the insinuation that I'm some sort of uneducated, backwards thinking, anti-technology hick from the middle of stupidville USA simply because I don't prefer to order en masse from online retailers. No one does. It's not funny and this isn't the first time someone has decided I must be of low intelligence just because I don't prefer to cower in my home and buy everything online. I understand you were probably just joking, but I don't take slights against my intelligence lightly and you didn't know that so I'm letting this go and moving on. No grudges held. Peace friend. Thanks for the drink. Now back to the nerdmasté and your regularly scheduled programming. Nothing to see here folks.
Don't disagree with your interpretation here, but in your response you're just as guilty of insulting others. Not everyone that orders online is "cowering in their homes". Not all online shoppers have agoraphobia and it's an insult to insinuate that they do.
I've been there. I've been a hunter for over 20 years now and sometimes (recently) online sales almost feel like poaching lol. Not that I haven't ordered more than a few things online, but it doesn't hold the same thrill for me. I'm old school, not antiquated lol.
Fair point. I am a hypocrite and I'll admit that. I said what I said and I can't take it back. I will apologize to those of you who prefer to shop online to secure your purchases. Your just as valid as I am.
Thanks Dudes, now I can practice self victimization like a pro. Still looking for input on my Chuckles Hawaiian shirt run.
I put in my preorder for Alley Viper and B.A.T. with BBTS. Just 1 each. I don't have the money or space to buy multiples of the same figure. I also went ahead put in a preorder for Storm Shadow and Croc Master.
Well, I'm only looking to get one Alley Viper. Him and Nightcreeper are the only troops I plan to buy because I used them as individual characters when I was a kid. I just prefer Amazon to most other places when ordering.
I can't tell you how excited I am for Classified Spirit. I just wish some of these figures were shipping.
Barbecue on sale at Target for $18.39 G.I. Joe Classified Series Gabriel "Barbecue" Kelly Action Figure Spirit up for pre-order on Amazon https://www.amazon.com/Joe-Classified-Collectible-Accessories-6-Inch-Scale/dp/B09HN3GQZY
Got in a preorder for 4 Alley Vipers a) 4 seems like a nice, even number b) Favorite viper as a kid, but was never able to get one in the original colors c) Until we get us some Crimson Guards, these guys will be Regal Cobra Commander’s personal armed security
I do not share this sentiment. Online shopping is not impacting the presence of these items at Retail. Classified is a pretty tough line to even find at retail, at least in my neck of the woods. Shopping online ensures product will arrive unless something gets cancelled or orders are short. I can count on one hand the number of times I've found anything in a retail store in the past five years. There are more and more scalpers and crazy people out there buying up product for 'investment' purposes to resell on the secondary market thinking they'll make a mint. So it falls apart pretty damn fast being a hunter. I check the toy aisles every chance I can and I still haven't found much of anything worth finding. Store Exclusives barely exist, they vanish in moments, end of line figures are never there, it's just a complete waste of my time to keep going there and hoping. The supply chain has been completely fucked for a long time and thanks to the Pandemic revealing just how bad it's gotten finding anything has proven less than ideal. In the end, if online shopping can get me what I want with minimal effort I will change my habits. That being said. Some online retailers are beginning to royally piss me off. But that is offsite drama so I'll leave it alone.
I saw 2 Breakers last night. Anyone need him? Anyone willing to trade 1 for artic storm shadow? Pleeeeeeeeeeeaaaasssseee?!
