i didn't add my deposit reference to the balance payment DOH! why i am still waiting

 

the scale picture you inserted us wrong. Groove is only a tiny bit smaller than Streetwise. He is the carbot size (same as the Datsun cars) Streetwise is a head taller.

 

They shipped mine yesterday. I settled the balance on Friday morning. Took receipt today.

Schoolboy error  . Easily done. I nearly missed putting the deposit reference down within the balance payment notes. Oddly the reference put in the notes appears in the messages under the deposit order. I may have got that wrong.

Anyway, I doubt you will have long to wait. Have you sorted it out now?

Pretty close for a quick Paint comparison before having in hand both figures, if you ask me.



Now I have a look again, it's funny how Groove's body is too short and Streetwise's is too long.

 

I'll do you one better:



Tracks isn't over a head taller. The mass (not heft) is nearly the same too. Groove is very very close to the earlier Takara carbots height (and mass). His body is fine too when compared to those same cars. It's Streetwise that's arguably elongated. That's what threw everyone off before and the thread went quiet when the penny dropped.

I forgot how crap Tracks was too. By far the poorest carbot on my shelf.

Edit - what's interesting looking at the shelf is how tall BC Red Alert is. He's nearly as tall as Streetwise. I has to grab Sunny and Sideswipe to compare......

So we have a slight height variance from Tracks downwards to Sunstreaker upwards varying 3p cars inbetween:



I could have sworn they were all the same height. Guess I was wrong!

They generally invoice you when their supply is en route to them from the manufacturer, and I don't think the flooding got them, unless it's like basement flooding

 

Hopefully not their building per se but I suspect the flooding is taking a toll on shipping and product movement in the area…like several major highways have disappeared in landslides and whatnot. But it’s all conjecture perhaps their shipment is slow for some other reason and it’s just coincidence.

No worries. Anyway, I don't think people could take my raw guess as the reference after people started to post real pics. I reckon in my first pic Groove's a tad smaller than what he should, but Tracks in the back looking taller than what he should compared to Fuzz does not help. The second one is closer to the real thing. Mine's still leaving China...
