After the work they did on the Ark I would personally love if they did more random out-there ideas. Like give us Generations Halonix Maximus. Just for the hell of it. I'm real curious what they'd do with that.

 

Because we already got Soundblaster. We got both the Hasbro AND Takara versions. I don't really see them going for a third.

Since I can't seem to see a Legacy speculation thread ; I may as well post here.


I had a thought recently about the delay of a year to the Transformers Movie. It got me thinking could this have a positive effect ?
If Hasbro doesn't want to make the foolish mistake they made with Gi Joe are release to much to early (even if that may be unavoidable due to logistics for at least some toys) they may want to put some later items on the back burner.

So if they did want to shift some later 2022 items back by 6 months or more. Might there be some space to do some things that otherwise wouldn't get made at all or might have been select series toys.

Even if it's resurrecting partially developed toys like Polar Claw and that Crocodile Fossiliser or Earth mode Hound. or just straight up repaints... heck they could even do something with the Beast Wars reissue moulds 'for fun'. Like Optimus Primal & Beast Megatron in G1 colours or an Orange Tigertron Deluxe. or even just make a Packrat reissue (from either mould) or do what they did with WFCT and release different decos - so like a premium paint Megatron with elaborate MP style paint (use the alternative head) or even do a "vintage" style Beast Wars Jurrassic Park T-rex and call it a JP 3 toy.

Or they could get the license for Ready Player One and release Ecto-88 remoulded from Gigawatt.

But even if they just used whatever moulds they had laying about with Minor remoulds they could do a lot. such as SG Cassettes, Twincast and Soundblaster remoulds, Earth Mode : Tigertrack, Deep Cover & Clampdown, various show specific WFCT toys (like the generics and Weaponiser repaints or a chromia repaint), Detritus, Sunstorm, Earthmode Red Wing. Armada colour Earthrise Thrust.

Heck they could even simply reproduce some sold out items that are in high demand like the Coneheads and Runabout.
I don't think people would cry to much of they did some G2 Dinobots too.

So maybe there is an opportunity there caused by the movie delay.... just a thought anyway. But i'd just like a Studio Series Jazz repaint as Stepper to match Artfire better !

 

The only way I could probably see a tape deck Soundblaster would be in Selects, or(I wish), a two pack with Twincast. Any name suggestions? I always come up with lame names anyways.
