If anyone else here is a sucker for the ReActions figures, Star have slipped a few more onto their site. Hot Rod and Galvatron have been added, plus the very hard to get Dirge and Black Perceptor figures (all still 20% off until 30 Nov, so get the pre orders in quick).

Sadly, no sign of this guy <--- yet.

    Phew all caught up.
Really wish I had time to peruse the thread on weekends but I simply don't (this is what work is for after all?).

Got around 6" of snow where I am, live at the top of a hill so when I finally managed to get out to the shops yesterday when it looked all ok for necessary things, it took me around 2 hrs to get home due to inconsiderate idiots not letting people out in the local retail park. Then had to leave the car at the bottom of the estate and walk home with the shopping lol.

I have the C9, previous years model and it's still simply perfect and the best TV I've ever owned. I also used my work discount scheme to save cash and got it for around £1600 including 18 months free sky.
Mine also sat in the box for around 3 months as I bought it just after buying the new house but couldn't resist due to the deal.

For anyone with this or later gen models of the C series with next (well I guess current now as it's been a year) gen consoles, you might want to check out https://www.youtube.com/c/hdtvtest/search?query=xbox
He seriously knows what he's talking about and watching his videos will help you calibrate both your TV and games console and get the best out of it. Certainly helped me and I can't fault either XSX or PS5 with my TV.

I backed the full KS of this, think it cost around £250/£300 in total with all expansions.
Got the base game around 18+ months or so ago, unboxed and read all the rules and tried a game or two on my own to see how it played before possibly introducing it to the semi-regular friends board game group. However due to covid and the game not being that fun / slightly complex in my opinion, when all the expansions came eventually I decided to sell it all on (and made a nice profit, selling full top tier kickstarters could be a decent income if you know what you're doing).

The actual video game is much more fun and unless you are into painting miniatures (or bigiatures lol as some of the robots are huge in the expansions) it wasn't that fun for me.

Unlike Marvel United which I backed fully and love to death!

The first Transformer I loved was Target Master Hot Rod, so as of course the grand return to the obsession started with a KO MP28 (not knowing what a KO was at the time - it blew my damn mind this thing was £25. Also came with a Matrix so thanks KO company!).

I've posted this pic before, but I think this covers most of them. There's a Purple MMC Calidus (asterisk mode) on the Lost Light shelf and a G1 Rodimus hidden in the back there. Don't look too closely at Side Burn, it's actually "earth mode Hot Rod". He's even got the golden rims from that ladybird book. Honest.

    Cool display.

And that Side Burn totally fits in, Hot Rod was a Dodge Viper just like that when hit Earth in IDW's Devastation and Maximum Dinobot series. His robot mode doesn't match the toy, but keep him in alt mode, totally works out.

Hasbro Looking to Lockdown Figures with New Packaging Technology?

This explains the patent thingy better. The peg will push into the figure. On transformers, you can probably push it out again as you'll likely be able to get to it unlike an action figure. If not...I see some compromised transformations in my crystal ball

There's just so many reasons not to have these anywhere near TFs... also, said mechanisms would likely be made of plastic!

    Argh god damn it!

Thanks to whoever mentioned the Collectable Kingdoms sale ...

I can justify this as they do exist in at least 1 episode of the cartoon :lolol

    Rainmakers incoming :)

Well the patent has the locking mechanism as a part of the toy, part of the removing it from the package permanently seals the piece in the toy so it's not throwaway plastic - also making it much harder to swap a toy in a box as tampering would be obvious - But yeah, I really don't see this working with TFs

    G Works delivery just arrived:

Sounds like mine was maybe held up by the Prime trailer bits, I ordered on the 3rd of October so just shy of two months to get to me. If anyone else has anything outstanding from them you're probably looking at similar.

Pretty much! It was a crazy time

Although there is no way I'm going to be able to keep those weird card backs in good condition.

Just cancelled another full page of BBTS POs, there's far too much all arriving in 2 months. And I'm gonna wait on UK sales for the NECA and Super 7 stuff.

Also........I don't see how something intrusive into the Toy can work for any of their Action Figure lines without creating holes in them - there can't possibly be a way of doing this to a basic Marvel Legend - sonic weld construction not screws and pins - without compromising the integrity of that type of build.

TFs at least have parts that could stand this "assemble fully after purchase" thing, even if it's a terrible idea.

    But what do we know.
