TT is the clear winner for me here. But I would have liked it if the front wheels could be positioned like with the 3P release. I don't think that's possible with the TT release.

 

They can be flipped around, as already seen earlier in the thread, but unless there's a fan mode mistransformation, we're out of luck...

I saw a photo in this thread earlier where the shoulders could be positioned backwards, so that the red part on the wheels is behind, but I haven't seen any photos where the wheels are positioned the same way as with that 3P release. Can you make a photo please?

I actually prefer the toy shoulders, so no big whoop for me. Kind of disappointing this factory got Arcee and Skids right and the one in China flubbed Starscream. Hopefully Shouki is made at the factory they use for diaclone.

What a beautiful alt mode, great paint, and robot looks nice too. All in all this seems like a bargain.

In which might be Tuesday. At least thats always been the case with me with DHL, a day or 2 earlier than scheduled. Like with Starscream it said Wed then around noon Monday it said it was arriving "today".

 

Strangely mines nas reached the facility but is on hold with an expected date of Weds. It s gotten there before and I've gotten same day delivery. No big whoop, over my father"s anyway, found out I couldn't change the address because the address I ordered with had a wrong numeral in the phone number.

 

It makes me really happy that the two go well together (regardless of which one you might prefer). I'm planning on mixing the two - both for variety, but also to get more of the possible decos. Still on the fence on if I want to switch from XTB to Takara for Crosscut as I already own the XTB. But if I end up getting a bunch of the XTB Diaclone decos it might be nice to have a few more official ones to even it out a bit.

Either way, I'm just glad that there are options and that they're both pretty good. It'd also be cool if someone else made a hardcore toon mold for those who want that (and it'd be another mold I could mix into my assortment).

are there any side by side pictures with xtb skids? or just this repaint? might be smaller but i actually prefer how takara's looks , never did really like the cartoon look for the shoulders so happy they went this way and looking at this my xtb skids will be up for sale very soon
