Isn't there some TOMY train tracks that they could have scaled these with - Lego seems like an odd choice.
But then I guess some of thos TOMY ones are odd colours.

I express no great knowledge of Toy Trains however.

I hope they offer an alternative face for the combined robot the face is really pretty weak I feel.

 

To my knowledge, Lego Trains are scaled around O Gauge, however their tracks are not, being slightly different in size making them non-compatible with any other track.

 

Scaling to Tomy tracks would have made them around Legends-sized.

Ooh, no dead eyes like Superion and Bruticus. Looks kinda like Studio Cell type eyes where they’re painted metallic but might still light up too.

 

In my opinion, the only thing Moon Studio is definitely winning on is the combined mode. To me, the train modes and bot modes of the MS set don't look nearly as good as the train and bot mode of TT Shouki. The size and fairly clean look of MS Raiden is certainly appealing though.

 

Are Kaen's shoulders on pin hinges? If true, that would be a huge turn off for me...

I mean, we’ve only seen 1 bot from TT while we’ve seen all 6 from moon studio. Kinda early to say TT automatically wins bot modes.

 

I don’t think I said that. I said that the train and bot modes of the MS figures don’t look nearly as good as TT Shouki. We, obviously, have not seen any of the other TT bots, so pretty hard to compare those at this time. But if the rest of TT’s bots and trains look as good as Shouki, then yes, I’ll say TT wins the bot and train modes, all of this is my opinion of course.

TT is only winning on the alt mode which I care the least, well just my opinion.

 

Radiatron's melon looks fantastic.

 

Took me a moment to realize that isn't the OG Railspike toy! I love that the sticker you used singlehandedly makes it him.

...oh, and Raiden looks good too. I'm hardcore debating whether to go in now or to stick it out for a potential box set with better colors.
