What an incredible difference! Nice work. This makes these 2 characters look way better.

Now if only there was a pose-able hands kit for these guys...
...instead of having to make my own, like I do for 99% of my Transformers.

Happy to help! There's tons of them on eBay, last I checked. Some people here have had bad experiences with them, but the ones I have on my Overlord work just fine, so... YMMV

I searched for these hands, with no results on ebay or anywhere else.
I'm not sure where to find them, since the websites I found showed either sold out or not available.

There are 2 different sets of hands for overlord the shockwave lab and these.

You do have to trim down the nylon connectors but otherwise they are great. Better than shockwave lab hands IMO.

 

Seems like you could use those for TR Six Shot too since they also fold in like that with some tweaking.

 

Just search eBay for Overlord upgrade. There's tons of them.

 

A G1 style large gun for this would be awesome.

 

The rifle that's included with the upgrade sets shown above is terrific, except for the fact that it's got the "magazine" sticking up out of the top of the rifle instead of underneath like it's supposed to. Dunno why they did that...

Okay, what they did here with the whole magazine position is due to how the gun is mounted in tank mode on TR Overlord. If the magazine was "correct", then the gun wouldn't be able to work on the tank.

 

I could solve the problem a ton of different ways, but at the moment, I don't have an issue with the stock gun, so there's no motivation for me to mess with the design.

 

Sorta... The thing is it's a self-inflicted problem. They designed it that way! The magazine only needs to be forward a couple more millimeters and it would clear the tank. (I have the toy and the upgrade, I checked.) they did take a few liberties with the design of the rifle, so they could have done this.

That's true. I wish that's what they'd done. There's a rifle upgrade out there somewhere (Shapeways maybe?) which does that very thing.

 

Yeah there is one on Shapeways done by Ariel's Customs that has a rotating mag.
