well generally speaking BBTS is literally the slowest store on the planet when it comes to anything.

if the 4 dollar shipping is a must for you than by all means stick with them and hopefully it works out. but just about any place else will be months if not years faster than BBTS.

Yeah, I was surprised after Cliffjumper that IF didn't tackle their version of BB. Maybe they figured the legends market would be crowded with NA and MS releasing their versions this year.

IDW Cosmos would be pretty cool with IF's current designs; would pair well with (if they eventually release him) Soundwave too.

 

What was his altmode in idw? I really like his flat saucer mode from that hasbro legends toy a while back

 

That would be a bit silly because their IDW Bee wouldn't be for the same audience as G1 Bee - I hated Bee on G1, only like his more modern, heroic and useful versions xD Specially IDW and Prime).

But I don't quite understand IF lineaup reasoning - they have no focus at all - they shoould either finish main IDW comics cast or G1 cast and only then go for weird stuff like BW or obscure characters.

 

His arms are the back of the buggy, his legs are the front, and his feet are the sides.
So I'm guessing the open passenger compartment, cage, and rear wheels are on his back. That's not a lot (at least not a lot of the dune buggy).

New IDW continuity is more traditional.

You kinda have to do it the way they do it. If you make all the popular characters first, where's the money going to come from when all you're doing is unpopular/weird/niche characters?
If you stagger releases with popular/unpopular you're much more likely to be able to continue making figures. If one has poor sales, you can make up for it later (hopefully).

Well that is one way to, but since they started mixing both G1 and IDW relevant casts, they have more than say MS and NA have to go for, and both already releaded their Bee.

Now I am happy they got Cyclonus finally, but Hot Rod is lacking also.

 

Oh I am right there with you wanting certain characters to be done. Hot Rod and Bumblebee would be important characters. Personally I'd love to see a Whirl and other Wreckers, the Scavengers, and Nautica to start.

 

Oh yeah, tottally want a Whirl as well, Nautica would be awesome too and if they made Ratchet and Ironhide with Earth alt modes I'd love to have as well :3

 

IF could definitely make an amazing whirl. well all the wreckers for that matter would be a piece of cake for them. hopefully we get teases for next year some time soon. that oct show is coming up.

I swear I don’t understand it. All these companies have started in on IDW cast members but go nowhere with it.

it’s been years since this line started and they’ve only done a handful, but haven’t even approached a number of the main characters. Why would you do a Drift, Ultra Magnus, and Cyclonus, but not a Hot Rod to go with them? Why did they do the IDW megatron, but not include the parts to make him match the mtmte cast or scenes where he fights Tarn?

It’s absolutely confounding. It’s almost like Iron Factory and MMC both want to kill their own market by not being focused enough.

 

well the brovid year really shouldn't count for product development.

if i had to guess i would say that IF will drop a rod and bee at the con that is coming up.

 

I hope so. But the Beachcomber and Seaspray designs turned out nicely even if they weren't big characters in IDW.
We never saw the Wrecker Seaspray in TF Prime, but this seems pretty close.
