I hope i can get the core good guys, Im waiting for the Lion-O and Panthro reissues to drop, and i hope to get Tygra, Cheetara, the twins and Snarf.

If i get a job any time soon I will go for the bad guys...and if i get a windfall from anywhere I will go for the side characters.

I do wonder how they will do the twins and Snarf, could they do them all in a triple pack?

 

Its called use cheaper and cheaper materials which crumble when hand touches plastic toy, whilst increasing the price (and blaming on that on freight costs). That way there is no point in nicking the toy!

 

I pre-ordered that bloody Tank. No idea where I'm going to put it. Wonder if we'll ever get The Cats Lair!

Or the Party Wagon, if I jump on that. I probably won't, I like the original too much and thats enough for me.

It doesn’t sound too different from what’s already being used, theres plenty of toys locked onto packaging with plastic keys already, having it as a separate piece you push in to complete the toy is bound to be awkward as in many figures like transformers it’s placements likely to be compromising. But it just seems like a slight twist on a well established concept

 

The preorder deposit is in for the tank, and funds set aside. Also wondering where it will fit!

 

 
I saw that deal with Collectable Kingdoms - have they marked it as shipped yet since you ordered? I was concerned they may not have stock yet?   

 

I honestly can't remember/ haven't checked. I tend to place orders and then just wait for them to arrive.

 

Anyone heard anything about Selects Galvatron out of Kapow? @barry got his from IDT a while back but nothing else seems to have surfaced.

 

That was my plan up until today. I wasn’t even aware of the characters until watching the Movie as an adult. I realise I’m starting to be nostalgic for my late teenage years!

I wonder if they would risk pissing off collectors who stumped up for the SDCC twins?

I’ve got the Icon Heroes tank to go with my mini mates.

Welp, that was an interesting Bus Ride into town today through the snow flurries, although it was better to be on a bus than still standing at the bus shelter avoiding snowballs from the wee prick at number 29, the little tosser.
His first shot twizzed past my shin and into the back of the shelter, so I waited until he turned back around (he did that shitehawk turnaround to face the wall as if that makes him invisible, like a friggin' toddler) looked him square in the eyes and gave him the middle finger.
Massive thanks to the adult couple also waiting at the opposite side bus stop who did nothing but have a bit of a chuckle. Sadly my return fire went well astray by my aim & arm being shite, and also me being extra cautious about not hitting them (also twats).
Just stuck my arm out to wave using the front mid-wall of the shelter for shielding when the bus came along, and then sailed past - for a bit, before the driver had an apparent attack of conscience, and pulled up somewhat overshot. I made the dash unscathed but she then gave me an earful for "Not properly indicating I wanted the bus" when I got on, I politely but firmly apologised, explained I was trying to catch the buss without a face full of snowball, and still thanked her but FFS!
Better get practicing my throwing, I guess?

And maybe some ninja stars to put in my returning fire.

 

Coming along now, need to replace the middle of one of the thrones with different card. Taking ages for the paint to dry, when it does I've got some modelling sand to sprinkle on and got some wargames scenery tyres on the way as well

 

I cant imagine they wouldnt reuse the mold, after all werent the original Lion-O and Panthro versions some sort of exclusive or hard to get thing?

 

@bcm77 - Good point I guess mate! We just can’t beat you lol!! It feels like years now! Mega frustrating. Minute I saw that lineup I knew it was going to be a nightmare to break that team down.
Onwards! Looking forward to the mid weeks and hopefully taking things out on Watford.

Robots - I Picked up Hoist and Huffer in the Kapow sale but I couldn’t justify a third robot beginning with H to get the hat trick! Shame, haha!

Hope that everybody has had a good weekend. Finishing things up this evening with 2021’s Mortal Kombat which is fantastically silly.  

 

Sorry, what I meant was would they re-release Matty figures with a Snarf figure? (Making people who have the twins already to have to rebuy them.)

 

Aah i see...but how could they release Snarf on his own i wonder? The main figures already have a bunch of acessories...
