2/3 of my RAMs had crappy barrels, tempted to go pick up another at my Target....

 

Odd opened my first one target sent me and it was fine. Picked up a 2nd from Target later never opened to check. Then forgot about pulse preorder and got a 3rd. Never knew they had issues.

 

Bendy barrels seems to be a common issue, unfortunately.

 

If you still somehow don't have either, Dorkside has Beachhead and Firefly.

Yup. Both the miniguns on my Rams have warped barrels. I'd rather wait to see if anyone is gonna do a printed replacement unit or whatever rather than attempt a fix. I'd love to see flash covers on these miniguns anyways.

 

Probably from being crammed into the plastic tray. I ran one of mine under hot water and it straightened out just fine.

 

The whole gun part, or just the barrels themselves? I ask because at least on mine the bend is near the base of the barrels.

The entire barrel plus the handle. Held them in place while they cooled down and they’ve been good since.

 

So, Target cancelled my first set of Python Patrol figures because of their "authorization issue".

Has anyone ever found out a way to fix whatever their issue is with this mess?

 

Keep the funds in your account or use a Red Card to preorder from them.

 

I had the funds in there it's crazy.

I did apply for one but had already ordered these before.

It seems like everything is fine when items are in stock.

 

When you get the card, you can update pre-orders with the new payment method. That's what I did. Do you have another set ordered anywhere?

 

Yeah, they say you can't update payment method without re-ordering though.

 

For Target? You can just hit "Request Payment Change", but it only works once. I did it on sold out items so I wasn't re-ordering.

 

2011 Skystriker modded to enable 2 modern Joes(30th anniversary Ace and 50th anniversary Ace) to fit inside. Almost the entire inner cockpit was gutted including guide/frame tabs. Goal accomplished but it does look weird as it looks like 1 figure is sitting on the other figure’s shins. There’s just barely enough room in the 2011 cockpit for 2 figures even with stuff cut out. I might glue a plastic panel to act as a faux seat(or rather seatrest) for the pilot and faux panel for the WSO.

Not sure if the Haslab one will be able to fit 2 modern joes. It seems like it might if the rear seat is as far back as it looks in render/photos with might being the key word.

FWIW both modern versions of Ace pictured tend to take up a lot of room due to their flight gear.
