No one said anything about “bringing it back as it was”. The pedo element of KP was disgusting and simply wrong. But I do think that aesthetically, the Transformers themselves were cool. I found Bayverse visually unappealing, intellectually vapid, and the entertainment-value equivalent of the WWE.

 

You can't argue with how good the figures look. The Autotrooper looks gorgeous. If one concept was worth bringing back from this whole mess, it was this one.

 

We have the Binaltech storyline if we wanted to bring back that look from the KP Autobots. It actually had some interesting concepts with the GT system like manufacturing duplicate bodies, using them as dummy-links, backup bodies to upload into in case they're severely damaged, etc. Actually cool ideas that utilize the Transformers as sentient but mechanical, technological beings instead of magic swords and shit.

Didn't even have to think about it, Kiss Players is practically a foot-note in regards to the history of the franchise and yet it's somehow a better quality product than the big expensive movie franchise in comparison.
