Also on the Micromaster topic, I kind of want someone to make MM scaled BW characters as that'd probably be the closest we'd get to BW show accurate scaled with CHUG G1

 

I forgot how fun the transformation of this mold is. Does feel fragile, and I doubt it will age well, but it works. The twist of the top half of the waist is a really nice simple touch to create space for the arms that I'd forgotten about.



Shame there isn't a solution to store the gun and Sights at the same time, sliding the gun on top almost works but it isn't secure.

Did this week all wrong: bought stuff at full price at begining of the week, bought absolutely NOTHING yesterday during the biggest discount blowout of the year. The Homer Simpson award for economics goes to..........

I'm now up to Four Parcels that have "arrived" at my local DO (Kapow one above) and should have been delivered in the week and.....they weren't.

 

I ordered a bunch of PS1 games on the same day, they all arrived 9 days later on the same day, including ones from Japan and ones from 30 miles away. I've also had a few customers wait over a week for 2nd Class parcels while other people have received the item from he same batch next day.

Royal Mail are struggling at the moment and 2nd Class is taking the hit, but it seems to be regional rather than national.

 

All the different colour coded weather warnings on the TV made me wonder if a yellow snow warning means it's got piss in it  

Noticed it was a bit colder when I was out but didn't feel the need for an extra layer of clothing, laughed at the odd looks and visible shivering I got from folk as I zipped around the supermarket.....if I move quickly the cold doesn't get chance to register to the point I'd notice and I also achieve my usual aim of getting in & out as quickly as possible.

Had a bit of an anomaly with my blood sugar last night which I put down to the new meds changing what's going on inside a bit so I ended up wide awake in the early hours because it dropped right down and I had to eat something.

Annoying, but not unexpected as it's never smooth sailing.

To pass the time whilst my blood sugar stabilised I watched a couple more videos of Ralf Rangnick talking about his coaching philosophy and I'm impressed, I just wonder whether some of the players will listen as they're so far up their own backsides they already think they know it all.

I also watched a bit of wrestling including the Mega Powers Vs Mega Bucks main event from Summerslam '88, a Raw from '98 that had Mankind Vs Kane in a Hell In A Cell match and a compilation of clips from another Raw from '98 that had Kane & 'Taker running riot throughout the show, great stuff!

I don't own any previous versions of the mould but wouldn't mind one as both modes look really nice and I also really like the effort made with the throne as well, a proper plastic piece looks much nicer than half arsing it with cardboard.

Also,
Jackpot is a character that's completely unfamiliar to me but I like the colour scheme. If Newage want to get another bit of bonus milage from their Jazz mould I'd bite.

The day before Black Friday I cancelled the Rainmakers from Hasbro Pulse (they were supposed to ship in August) and ordered them from somewhere else. The next day the Rainmakers are in Collectors Kingdom Camelot sale, so I just bought the bloody things again because I'm stubborn and wanted the deal.

I’m looking to purchase some kits for my Jinbao OS Grav Builder figure. The kits use components from Toyworld Constructor and form a hybrid of the two. Apparently they are available on Taobao.

Finally restored my Electro. Will never transform him as the plastic is brittle af. I bought him pristine on ebay for a tenner complete and the fucking moron posted it in a bubble mailer. Turned up as shattered as a fat bloke on a treadmill. Got about £7 back though so he will do for that price.

AFAIK TaoBao is run as a National business exchange only, and any goods you want shipping Internationally will be thru a 3rd Part Middleman.
The one and only time I used it to snag my TR Siege Over Cybertron box set, I used Bhiner they operate similarly to HLJ in that you pay for & buy an item (or items) via them (you search for the TaoBao item listing but on the Bhiner site so it is possible AFAIK that the exact listing you want may not be searchable but what you want may be available from a different seller), they get it in to their warehouse (so you could theoretically amass a number of items to be shipped together, pile of loot style), once they have what you want in you request the shipping from them, which they then calculate and charge you for, then ship once that's paid.
Probably worth looking thru their website T&C's with the change in VAT on imports though, I made my purchase many moons ago now very pre-VAT change.
It worked out fine that one time but I found it so much more stressful overall on the psychological front to be caught on the outside with even the middleman being China-based that it was my first and last.

When your instinct that "This will either go brilliantly well, or terribly badly" is wrong - because it's both!

As suspected it did actually work in a bleaching/leeching/cooling effect on the warmer tones of the less porous plastic parts and paint apps but, boy, howdy, I never would have guessed a Shockwave purple-shift on the porous abs parts!
And yet...

And yet...despite the bits that have gone well going excellently, and the bits that have gone "bad" having in fact gone *really* "bad" it turns out to be "Bad" in the Michael Jackson album title-sense!

Well, it just works as a Preddo redeco in my book, just a baleful green eyes repainting away from a perfectly cromulant Predacon, sez i!

Daydreaming of a RID Ruination repaint of MMC Assaultus…just wonderful. Arguably they’d be in scale with the RID Scourge @MyTea Boc generously sold me the other week.

Anxiously waiting for a shopping notice to appear from Fans Hobby about Armada Megatron over the next few weeks. I know it’s early but they’re either going to delay him until 2022 or they plan to get him out before the new year to avoid the whole fiasco they had with Optimus. Looking forward to the packaging reveal. I was in awe with Naval Commanders, Tidalwave is going to be hefty not only in price

I like that Sights retains a Gun mode accidental or not. It's a shame that you can't combine the guns though like the Actionmaster.

Also the Amazon Exclusive Wrecker rumour sounds like fun if it gets me a south American Twin Twist & Topspin repaint out of it.
& two new Fuzor remoulds (Mamoth and Spinosaurus).

Though It did get me thinking perhaps they need to do a mainline Rack & Ruin- even if they have to cheat like with Refector. The Cyberverse one would be a bit to big I suspect to use him.

Though I am keeping my fingers crossed that Cyberverse Rack & Ruin will get a gap filler kit one day.

Also Re : Ladybug ep "Ephemeral" - well it actually managed to pi$$ me off even more in English than in French. & you can time that times a 1000 if this trash episide is in anyway a basis of the official reveal in Miraculous Season 5. I won't say why I am annoyed as there is to many reasons - maybe I'll have another rant in the proper thread sometime.
