If that's about what it ends up looking like, and it isn't made a decepticon for whatever reason, I'll probably end up picking it up as Ironhide for my shelf, since I missed out on the 2pack with Prowl, and even with the mold being fairly weak don't really have a desire for the upcoming voyager version.

It's rumours/leaks, but a lot of those are now posted in the speculation thread since the Mods closed down all of the Leak Threads (drunk and otherwise).

 

It's not speculation, it's word from the reliable leakers. It's just in the "speculation" thread because that just ended up being the main one for discussion of unknowns about the future toy line, and where leakers would put a lot of their leaks.

 

Why not here? Many people don't looks speculation section...

Honestly though Wreckers seems like the perfect way to do the whole "not using as important legacy retools for your G1 collection" since it at least has new figures and b grade G1 characters with exception to Bulkhead and Springer.

How did stuff from known leakers stick before they became known? Not being facetious, I’m genuinely curious. If only non-known leaker stuff gets deleted, how will the next generation of leakers ever get known?

Don't ask me, I've only seen that if the leaker is known or has some connection with known leakers, his revelations are generally welcome, otherwise the thread is very often closed or even deleted...

Lately, a lot of times what happens is that you have people with zero post counts and zero credibility join this site just to share "leaks". These leaks are typically stuff we've already heard about from reliable leakers with a few "new" items mixed in. Typically these new items are either common sense retools/repaints given what we already know is coming or so off the wall you know it's got to be BS. Then the reliable leakers will be unable to corroborate or flat-out call BS on the new guy's info. Eventually, this leads to them getting outed as fakes and the thread closed. In short, if you're trying to bullshit the fandom for ten seconds of "internet fame" you're very likely to get found out and the mods don't tend to look too kindly on such behavior because it makes a mess for them to clean up.

As for how the reliable leakers gained credibility... well most of them were doubted early on too and became reliable once their leaks were corroborated either via leaked listings that came later or via a leaker who'd already been proven credible vouching for them. All leakers were doubted at one point. Time or others who are reliable usually sort out one's credibility in the long run.
