Well after a 3 hour journey to work, and the subsequent cancellation of all train services I hope everyone’s as safe and warm as they can possibly be, take care!

Broke out the black paint yesterday to sort out the coloured pegs on Jackpot's wheels (and Smokescreen while I remembered). Must have got carried away with my layering on Jackpot though as one of his wheels now won't spin.

Oh well, at least they aren't bright yellow any more.

    Morning All,

If you didn’t get a reply I’d take them off you. Let me know your paypal details and I will shoot the cash over.

I had an invoice from Comics last night for pancake Bumblebee. Hopefully others waiting on Comics for that Bee should be in the same position.

The chest cowling of the G1 figure, particularly in the box art, looks like a proportions-cheated Datbro chest with and added central engine intake?
Though as the Wiki points out he seems to have more motorbike cues, particularly his midriff engine detailings look more bike-y to me, so maybe another Legacy Arcee light remould, or possibly the upcoming Core Iguanus (this is a bit of a leap as we haven't seen him yet but on the punt that as a Pretender organic shell riff Iggy might have more appropriately smooth curves for 'Bot mode that would better suit Rad's G1 established more humanoid silhouette)?

I was going back and forth on this. Fire Guts was my preferred option but if honest not massively fussed about God Bomber either way and the combined mode looks wobbly. Plus Powerbaser was literally a 3rd of the price...but I can't lie, it looks beyond magnificent. I really don't want to invest on a second set...for now :D

Got my invoice too. Literally 30 or so minutes after I spent all my collecting money on Powerbaser :D

Yeah, the full combined mode isn't completely rock steady, although that's more due to the sheer size and weight thank anything else. Looks good, though. And there's always other combos to try... upload_2020-4-23_22-32-49.jpeg

Seeing that (barring the blinked & missed it Amazon Warehouse Arks) the Big Wedge Cheese is till at £110 squids in the various Black Friday offerings.

Let's see if a January sales dice roll pays off, sez I!

Also really think Smyths should've cheekily highlighted £9.99 Wingfinger as the fourth offering, my boy deserves a profile raise.
I mean I too was among the skeptics of his reveal, and vocal in my criticism of his gangly stick man design but in-hand he has utterly won me over as a pure bit of spirit of G1 Daftness in plastic in hand.
Though do be aware he may need a bit of the ol' frictioning up, especially for the Combiner mode.

Ouch. If it’s any consolation, I paid off Jocund (XTB) yesterday and also found out about my wife not switching off roaming whilst being abroad. Money I would have allocated for KFC Raijin (Ginrai/Super & God G).

Which PBaser? The fire guts one or regular deco? I’ve been mulling over those and then chose KFC.

Ooo Jocund did look very interesting. I'm going MMC on this set but the XTBs are definitely lookers. I went for the Black Pbaser directly from FH's BFriday sale.

Actually this begs the thought, if Hasbro were to take another swing at Action Masters, then Core Class would be the ideal modern size for Vehicle/Playset-using TF action figures given the rising tide of plastic costs, eh?

    That would work for me.
Or they could just do Micromasters right, give us the entire 84 and 85 cast as MM with big playsets.
