There will be gaps at the back(correct me if I'm wrong) of the trailer if you leave the pieces off. Right at the back of the trailer over and around the back door/ramp

 

Thanks guys, I think I'll pull the trigger then. I've got the cartoon versions of the other four, never picked up Gravestone, and that more-real-world-looking truck deco is really sweet.

 

This is correct, I'm sure you can do the transformation but will have panels missing that make the sides of the trailer and the hitch that connects the trailer to the truck would be missing as well.

It's such an involved transformation that if you are going to go back to trailer mode then it should be no big deal to screw those three parts back on especially since they are extremely easy to access external parts.

 

I was going to make them a little shorter, but I kind of thought they made more sense being even with the top of his horns.

The cannot, however, have a smaller foot print as they fit around the existing shoulder pieces.

 

There will be options as shown in the photos.

1- all grey. These are printed as a whole piece, and I hate masking, so they will be all one color.

2- same as above with the yellow detail (which is just a vinyl cut decal)

3- grey with silver detail in front. The two silver panels are printed separately. This makes them easy to paint a different color with no masking. And since they are separate pieces they will have much cleaner details (without getting into the technicalities of SLA printing, anything facing away from the build plate has the cleanest lines. The single piece option has those panels printed perpendicular to the build plate)



4- grey/silver as above with the yellow decal.

5- any of the above with the center piece connecting them.

These will just tab into the existing shoulder pylons. There is a rectangular slot on top that these will connect to. It's not really secure. But this is a display piece, not a toy. And I didn't want them too secure anyway as I don't want to risk someone having the urge to lift Monolith from these and cause something to break.


I will get something together in my sales thread after Thanksgiving.

 

You will be missing this entire section and won't have a trailer hitch to connect to gravestone cab.

I backed out on the Youth trailer. Glad it took so long as I decided I just don't need it. Atilla and Toon Monolith are enough. I don't need a 3rd MP Menasor. So I guess I won't even be using my shoulder extensions.
