if i could get the light smoked clear neck and chest piece in a kit like you have done, it would be an instant buy as that looks just perfect for me!

right now the only option looks to be buying both this DNA kit to get the clear yellow neck and the NONNEF kit with the lightly smoked chest, which would end up costing more than the figure itself.  

 

Eh, I'd like the Wheelie and clear parts for the neck. Don't think this is worth the asking price to me. I'll just wait and hope Hasbro gives us a dedicated transformable Wheelie in deluxe class.

Dear DNA Design creators. If you read the comments, I ASK YOU FROM ALL MY HEART! PLEASE, MAKE UPGRADE FOR STUDIO SERIES 86 HOT ROD! Give him the trailer to be look like Rodimus Prime! I ask you about it, because Kingdom Rodimus Prime is FULL DISAPPOINTMENT! He should\'nt and even MUSTN\'T be Rodimus. STUDIO SERIES 86 HOT ROD MUST BE THE REAL RODIMUS! And among all the 3-rd Party Studios you make the best upgrade, imho! So please, make my dreams come true!

3.) SS86 Hot Rod is Hot Rod, not Rodimus Prime. Period.

Rodimus isn't up to par for you because of the price, pure and simple. If he was cheaper, you'd be all over him like white on snow on rice on a paper plate in the middle of winter. DNA wouldn't waste the R&D time/money, and the effort to produce a product that no one really needs because Hasbro made a legit Rodimus Prime that does everything you're asking DNA to do. We saw what happened the last time a 3rd party tried to step on Hasbro's toes with a competing product coming out at nearly the same time... It wasn't good.

You want a different Rodimus? Buy POTP Rodimus and be done with it. You don't even have to turn him into the Leader Class size mode, the Voyager Class Hot Rod mode works as a Rodimus Prime. His face ain't youthful, and he doesn't look like SS86 Hot Rod, so you're getting the best of both worlds. Asking DNA (who probably will never see this) to make something that doesn't need to exist is just a waste of your time and breath.

I do, it’s just wrong.

 

I like what they were trying to go for with Wheelie. But honestly he just needs a brand new figure instead of an upgrade. This is one I would LOVE to see Newage tackle.

 

That’s what this kit is lol, it’s an entire new figure.

 

i would rather see DNA drop the wheelie upgrade along with the price, and include a lighter smoked or clear chest plate upgrade instead.

Glad that it seems like is releasing soon. However, with the announcement of SS86 Wheelie I don't think I need this replacement now.

 

Better than the Nonnef upgrade at least.

Still not sure if I should keep my pre-order though.

 

Yeah, I'm going to cancel my order. I'm only getting it just for those arms and the asking price is too much for just using the arms only.
