I love that this little like $20 valued set is what pushed so many people including myself to buy like the most expensive Star Wars LEGO set ever haha. It’s like I purchased the Saber and the AT-AT is the gift with purchase.

After waiting 14 minutes in a queue, I finally got on the site. i've been saving up my VIP points for years just for such an occasion, and I had enough to pay half of the AT-AT, so I went and redeemed the points. Well on the site, it tells me to click one of the two payment options and then add the redemption code, so I clicked pay with Paypal. Well, it charged me the whole thing! This was my first time using VIP points since they changed the system, and I'm not a fan. The old way was so much easier and user friendly. So now I'm stuck with $400 of virtual money on LEGO.com and the thing I wanted to spend it on is already paid for, and there really isn't $400 worth of stuff on there right now that I want to buy. Not pleased.

I may contact them and ask if there's a way to apply the points, b/c the instructions they give you on the site contradict the reality of how it works.

Well it is more of the fact that the UCS sets rarely if ever go on sale, so you are going to pay full MSRP anyway, so might as well get the ultra limited GWP while you can.

Good luck. This was my first time using the new VIP system as well, and as I said before it was a pain. Going to try to get them to apply the points I redeemed to the AT-AT or back to my account as well, as I'm not sure there's anything I really want to spend that on the next couple months.

Amazon.ca's Black Friday deals are some of the best I've ever seen for Lego in Canada. 30% off Medieval Blacksmith, Space Shuttle, Police Station, and a bunch of others. And 20% off Ninjago Gardens, Barracuda Bay, Assembly Square... jeez louise.  Trying to refrain from putting myself into debt right now.

I didn't really need that enabling at the moment. But I've been eyeballing the Space Shuttle for a long time now, and I can't say no to $80 off...

Did stop myself from splurging on a number of other more frivolous sets, though.

Just bought the UCS AT AT with the Luke lightsaber and the Santa Claus gift. I'm planning to use the VIP points to buy later the Discovery, since it's the first time I buy on the Lego shop I have a question, is there any limit on the amount of discount vouchers you can use for a single purchase?

I'm still trying to clear up enough space to back the Proton Pack or the Rancor before it's too late, chances of that happening are very slim. Don't tempt me LEGO! Seriously, DON'T TEMPT ME!

Wow there are some amazing deals on there for stuff that doesn’t really go on sale.

25 % off of the Cantina and NES . Also the Star Destroyer wow. Can’t buy any of it because of the AT-AT but I would have went bananas otherwise.

I'm now very confused... I went to Lego.com to order the AT-AT... it said "also available" (rather than "included" or "added") for the Santa set and the Lightsaber set, but my bag was "3 items"... I went through checkout and I think I clicked everything correctly, but... no confirmation email and nothing showing on my online account, so as of now I have no idea if I've actually placed an order or not, and if I have, whether or not it includes the bonus items :(

Aaand after posting that, I did a "refresh" on the orders page, and it's showing an order for all three :D

I'm mainly after the AT-AT itself, but... extra stuff is always cool to have :D

Ha! I literally just put mine on our mantle too. Temporary while I get the other holiday sets out of storage.
