I think that maxim works in both directions. Even if you only spent one dollar on Titanium Fallen, you'd still have Titanium Fallen.

According to TFWiki the Titanium was actually based mostly on Stormbringer Megatron aside from the head and chest, which would explain why he looks so much like that design.

 

I think his chest should be red. To me it looks too much like Grimlock but with new heads and weapons. My idea is totally different from this.

 

On the upside, it doesn't seem like the ROTF design is persisting into any future incarnations, RID2015 and Power of the Primes, etc all have something much closer to DW, although each going in their own direction.

We should bring back the flames again though...

edit: I had IDW1 on that list at first but then I remembered that we was basically movie styled, but styled more after movie Megatron than The Fallen though...

I suspect someone is jumping the gun on the Generations Selects Guard leak.

 

I hope he has a real name, if it’s true. TT has done an excellent job giving us detailed backstories for these new Diaclone characters that “could have been”. It’d be disappointing if Hasbro finally gets hold of the ball this time and drops it.

 

I'm really wanting a Diaclone black Ironhide, but with the rumor/news that a voyager Ironhide/Ratchet is coming, I would rather wait until then.

(If "Guard" is indeed diaclone Ironhide, that's an incredibly lame name. I thought Armorhide had a nice sound to it.)

 

The word "guard" alone would be impossible to trademark, so I have to assume it's a placeholder or incomplete name. I don't recall if any leakers even said with certainty that it is Ironhide. I'm sort of hoping for a cartoon colored redeco of the Quintesson Bailiff to be honest.

Perhaps it is considered unreliable news, if it does not come from a known leaker it is easy for it to happen

 

Anybody who's seen the leak would be able to verify that it's real tho, the red face is hard to miss

 

Looks cool enough if real that I'd want it at least, although that's still depending on if the Voyager Ironhide is going to be up to snuff.

Not really keen on buying multiples of a figure unless the original is top tier stuff

 

Interesting. A black Ironhide isn’t enough, final colors will determine if I snap it up or not. Regardless, it’s very cool if Hasbro is doing this.
