How does Eject take away from Blaster? Like what else do you need? He looks perfect to me

There were better things in Energon to homage than the clear weapons, like two-Autobot combiners, Wing Saber, and Snowcat!

 

These energon weapons are about the least intrusive gimmick there could be. I definitely prefer this over things like Mini-con or Cyber Key powers that ate up engineering budgets and turned lots of figures into awkwardly proportioned bricks. If you don't like the energon weapons, just toss them in your spare parts bin like I will.

 

I'm pretty sure it wasn't the line gimmicks that did that, I'm pretty sure that was late Beast Wars and CRID being overcomplicated for the kids and them wanting to simplify the toys for them (and overdoing it most would agree) that did that

 

A bit of both I'm sure. That's probably the reason for the simplified transformations and in turn the wonky proportions, but it doesn't explain why they couldn't give certain figures knees.

 

So that they could remain simple toys that children would toss across a room and not break.

 

Amen. Keep those gimmicks in Cyberverse or whatever future cartoon. Generations doesn’t need them.

 

Bingo. Generations gimmicks should be transformation, articulation, and nifty weapons that don’t compromise the prior two mentioned gimmicks

 

If you saw any of my posts after that you’d know I wasn’t referring to him. Nowhere did I mention eject.

 

I can\'t wait to find blaster here on eBay, or wherever else (I kinda hope Hasbro releases the rest of the cassettes though)

Same. He's basically ER/NX soundwave but better.

 

That extra lower arm swivel is an interesting articulation addition.

Fingers crossed that these figures appear at Target before Christmas, or at least New Year's Day.

 

I have been trying to get a Slammer for sometime. So it is kinda funny to see him on sale when Target’s website doesn’t have stock on him yet.

 

Target isn't the only website, Best Buy and GameStop put up Transformers figures that are "not selling" on sale on their sites as well.
