I wouldn't have thought they would be using the Felisaber arm unless the Talon was already on the back. At a guess, one set of wings is attached to the torso as per usual, and Talon is attached to the second wingpack somehow without using the chest peg. (That or someone modified a wingpack to give it two pairs of wings in a single assembly.)

I don't think that anyone else has really discussed this, but how in the heck did Cang Toys figure out how to take the same sort of redesign for Predaking and make it work in both the Legends Scale and the Masterpiece Scale? Like, how did they figure out how to simplify the Transformation of the Masterpiece-scaled Predacons and make it work in the Legends Scaling? Considering how complicated the original Transformation is, they have to have done some sort of black magic in order to be able to shrink the Giant Masterpiece Figures into the Legends Scaling.

Honestly, I don't think they did. If you look at review videos for the two Firmaments, they have distinctly different transformations at various points, not to mention all the detailing differences. Rather than downscaling the MP version to create the Legends version, I think they just designed the two versions more or less simultaneously.

This. While there's some aesthetic similarities and more than a few points patterned off each other, the MP Figure and the Legends Figure aren't really that similar.

Has anyone had any serious quality control issues with mini-firmament so far? Or anything to be careful of when transforming him? Didn't really see anything mentioned, but just curious.

    nope...

i think i was the first on the board to have one.

but i have banged that little bot out left and right and have no issues what so ever. lots of us have the bot now and from what i can see it is still a hit.

so if you are thinking about it grab one and never look back. i still think this is the fig of the year easily.

The biggest problem I have with this guy is he doesn't really fly. He broke the first time I threw him. False advertising if you ask me. Wish I'd never bought him.

Alpha Trion once say: You can lead a bird to the sky but you can’t make it flap…

I have. One of the front waist flaps was SUPER tight. When I tried to move it, it snapped off. The beak on mine won't open either and after having the break already, I'm not keen to force the beak.
But even with the break, I still love this figure and can't wait to finish the set.

If anything, just be careful of the gold pieces as they're painted translucent plastic. The beak in particular can be kinda tight outta the box due to the paint.

Yeah--the beak was an issue for me. Wedged mine open REALLY slowly. I'm sure the paint gunked together at the hinge and dried.

Everything else on mine has been perfectly fine, though.

Really good looking figure, especially at a 30$ price point from TF-Direct. Pretty sure the other bots will be more expensive, but I'll take this one as a win for now.

You think so? I always thought all the limbs would've been close to same price but core/torsos would be more since they're bigger. I could be wrong but never thought or expected the rest of the limb bots to be more expensive. Will be interesting to see how it plays out.

There was a thing about them underpricing it and it being more expensive to produce than they expected, and they would need to raise the price on later releases of the figure--promising to honor current ones (at the time) sold. Or similar to that note. The thing is, it's been hard to figure out if they were talking about the entirety of the run, or just the run of figures that you could get at a REALLY low price (I think it equated to about $18 USD or something?) if you bought the MP version, as a kind of tie-in. In China Only, I believe. The translated note referencing the situation never specifies one way or another, and it's been purely speculation as to whether it was just the 'discount' figure or the whole run. Also, this thing came with those huge wings, while others aren't going to need as much hardware. So we also don't know if the notation even refers to the other figures or not. It's all assumption.

At this point, we're all expecting the future individual releases to be more expensive than Frimamini's $28 price point as well, but we're not sure by how much. I'd LOVE a dollar amount still around $30.

I dunno. Mini-Firmy is pretty big for just like regular firmy. Hopefully the rest will be cheaper?

I know bombusbee has a deal if you buy the regular firmy you can get the mini-firmy at half price when shipped together.

Well, then I'm at least wrong about the half/reduced-priced mini thing being China-only. And while I expect the others to be more, I certainly hope they price the same as their first one.

Thanks to everyone that replied. Much appreciated. Sounds like he is pretty solid overall. Very encouraging. As others have mentioned, hopefully the price won't go up too much for the remaining figures. I am hopeful that this one might come as a box set eventually. Seems possible given the size. A bit more impractical for the MP sized figures. Can you imagine how big that box would have to be? lol!

I had that thought myself. Looking at the pricing on other 3rd party legends, this was so reasonably priced! I was wondering if they lowball the first one so that people buy it, then you want to finish the set, then the price jumps.......
    Hopefully not.

Out of curiosity, does anyone have any clues as to how the front waist flaps come out?

Sorry, the what now? Are we talking about the Legends Firmament, and if so, what waist flaps? If you mean the two hip skirts above the thighs, they aren't removable.
