This isn’t going to hit for a long while i reckon, no cyclonus as yet which was due before this, they’re looking at perceptor in December AND they’ve still got springer on the slate too, sooooo……

 

Oh yeah you're right, I see the payment details now as showing for preorder I must of missed that before.

I wonder if they are fixing the hip issues because this is taking a while. Cyclonus shouldn't effect this since it's just a repaint, Perceptor wasn't even announced at the time this reissue was (although I'm sure it was in the works) and Springer has been an ongoing delayed work in progress that has a much later release so I really dont get it. If I remember correctly I've had a preorder for Deadend longer than Wildrider which has already been released.

He shouldn’t affect it I agree, but he’s still got to be fabricated to be re-painted, and if Keith’s “preferred” factories are knocking out Perceptors and plastic chairs, then Cyclonus, Springer and this, which isn’t even a re-paint, are surely gonna suffer.

You do remember correctly as Deadend was supposed to come first, but didn’t, with Wildrider releasing “on time” and this disappearing….so either it is to fix the hip issue or the moulds been hijacked by the dodgy factory

Jimmyh, those things are huge and awesome. I'm just not sure if I like the yellow front or the all silver front. Either way, they look cool. Sign me up for a set for sure, please. On a side note, my Dragstrip showed up today. Didn't have a chance to mess with him yet, but I will have a completed Menasor, minus the shoulder pads, tomorrow. In your face Fans Toys.

I know there is a guy who has a direct relationship with Keith so I hope he could read this: has it ever been suggested or explored the idea of making a non-transformable, rock-solid skeleton for Menasor, possibly paired with an mp10-like trailer? I am pretty sure there's a lot of people (including me, of course) who skipped the trailer (immediately sold, in my case) because of the frustrating transformation and the stability issues but still love their xtb stunticons set and would love to see their Menasor combined.

 

So happy I bought a back plate from @jimmyh . If you are not planning to stick Motormaster in the back of Menasor I’d highly recommend you get in touch with this TF modding wizard for this component.

Looks great. Not sure which I like better, yellow or silver fronts. These look like they just sit atop the existing shoulder pads? Also how many pesos will you require to have some of these made and shipped to my home?

 

I like the idea of these, but to me they look much too tall and come too far forward. G1 Menasor's shoulder pads came up for the top of his forehead and were level with the front of his face. But these tower above his head and come so far forward that they look more like blinkers for a horse. (Er, this is meant to be helpful and constructive criticism, by the way. I've tried rephrasing so that it doesn't sound mean. Please don't think I'm being mean!)

If they were 2/3 the height and came 2/3 the way forward I think I would surely pounce and get some!

 

Selling my youth version set plus trailer for anyone interested

 

Gravestone Youth Version is $109 at TFSource's Black Friday sale today. Worth it?

 

If you like the deco then yeah, I think so. I'm tempted to snag one too.

 

its a good figure. if u like the deco i would not hesitate but its not THAT much cheaper than normal. some places that don't charge sales tax sell it for $130 normally i think....so you save $20 over them but then whatever tax you pay lessens that difference. of course i should say we all report our use taxes when we file income taxes of course so this just defers that cost.  

 

I got him for $129 and I think he's worth what I paid for him. In hindsight, of course I wish I would have waited and saved $20 but he's a great figure. I got the whole line while they were on sale except for Gravestone. I haven't gotten the trailer yet, though. Since I didn't get these guys to combine them, I think I'm going to wait for the trailer to go on sale. If it never does, oh well. Didn't want to miss out on this guy, though and risk having to pay more instead of less to complete the set.

Long story short, I think $109 is a fantastic price for this Gravestone.

 

For those that have installed jimmyh's back piece, I know you can't transform him with the back on, BUT, can you transform him with the pieces off that you removed in order to install the back piece? I don't have any of these guys yet. I started with the back piece. Lol.
