Depends if he considers a new mold with the easiest repaint (Optimus Prime) in existence crazy. If we want to get crazy though...cancelled Menasor repaint for GenSelects

You probably can't give away much specifics, or even know of any, but do you at least know how many figures we can expect and whether or not they'll be two-packs?

 

So I’m just expecting redecos and maybe a few retools, like leadfoot from kingdom mirage or maybe even a stepper/ ricochet?

 

This new subline sounds cool but where is Earth mode Hound!?! I really need some Amazon listing leaks!!! Last couple years we had the two packs and the subline so I need some leak goodness!

 

A Wreckers subline in general seems kinda crazy to me.

 

We could start with a de-battle damaged Springer!

This would be great. Also kind of weird that we would get 2 sublines from this series (the other being Walmart Velocitron). But I'm okay with more weirdo repaints. Here's hoping for another new mold thrown in.

 

So for factional variety and the appeal of versus packs, how many villains are heavily Wreckers related?

 

We had concurrent Walmart and Amazon sublines for both Earthrise and Kingdom, not very weird to see that continue.

 

Oh man this has potential, but it’ll all hinge on what era they’d do.. We already have a modern Impactor and Rotorstorm. I’d love a modern Ironfist (from Siege Hound) and Pyro (from Leg Bulkhead) from LSOTW. Also Thunderclash from… a theoretical Machine Wars Optimus which could be a retool of Laser Prime. Circuit could be from a theoretical Axer. Minerva is rumored already. Aileron is the one we have NO toy of and, in a repaint line, would be least likely to happen.

 

Anything you giys can give away for it, Leakers?

 

By series, I meant the ongoing Wreckers comic miniseries (if that is the version of the Wreckers this subline is for). I should have specified that a bit more.

Yeah, that does sounds strange. Isn't it only a 4 part miniseries? Seems like a short run to have 2 lines for. Then again, the Walmart Velocitron isn't completely based around the comic and has a lot not based on who's appearing. I'd expect this one to go in a similar way. Not that I'd complain if its more heavily based on the new run, I'm really enjoying it!

I mean, I guess the Netflix series had some synergy with the Walmart exclusives. But yeah, I'm with you, I'm not expecting anything groundbreaking (although we're supposedly getting Cosmos in Velocitron, that's a pretty big deal to me at least!), but any opportunity for more obscure characters is fine by me!

 

My guess is that they don't know- other than the theme.

Which version of the Wreckers? My guess is that it is the new IDW version.

 

As someone mentioned this already, has there been any news on earth mode Hound @wreckgar39?

 

I'm putting my money on the IDW 2 guys as some retools/repaints. Curious to figure out who they are repainted from.
