This one needs base mode. It was a big part of the toy. That’s how I will be displaying it. Although I might buy a second set for combined mode. Personally, I am not buying god bomber. That was never part of the American G1 toy, so I don’t have any connection to it.

I wouldn't pay 100 for PB tbf. Aesthic is not my style.

That said if we are talking Ginrai himself compared to other similar sized 3p bots it doesn't seem that bad. For example, Acousticwave is nearly £100 more.

    That's also Fanstoys.

They charged $100 extra for a paint change between Insecticon reissues and I already think Acousticwave is too overpriced.
They shouldn't be treated as the norm for what prices should be.

That's my point. I'd agree if they were similar prices but like I said, this is nearly £100 less and there's still complaining.

£95 for an mp44 sized robot is cheaper than I expected and will literally be the cheapest of its size class on my shelf (ignoring ko mp44).

Edit - which works out at just under $130 so dunno who is charging $150. Shop smart ppl.

    £130 for P-15 and £135 for P-16 at Omegalock.

£365 for the whole thing basically

resurrecting this old post of mine in the thread, responding to ibot's question of how tall Overlord was vs. God Ginrai.

Now that we have Xtb Deszaras on the way (37cm height), I'm curious how things will measure up. Way earlier in the thread, ibot mentioned that God Ginrai was going to be 42cm in height, but the scale chart shows Victory Saber being taller than God Ginrai. Here's Deszaras compared with Victory Saber

At this stage, I won't be as nitpicky as my younger self was (from 2019/2018). If they're all roughly within the same realm/correct height, I'm happy. Once the Masterforce and Victory leaders are done in MP style, I'll be extremely close to retiring from MP collecting, personally. Right now there are renders/pre-orders/finished releases of 3/4...just missing Overlord now (double evil doesn't do it for me).

But then I always forget about God Bomber! For PMOP were looking at 230ish? Can't remember how much I paid for mp44 now.

Bombusbee have P15 for the PO full amount as $118. Shipping is $26. That converts to £107. I’m rolling the dice going with BBB for P-15 and hopefully swerves import vat/fees like my RP Acoustic Wave.

The other two for the set are not available for PO on the BBB site yet. I’m likely to buy via them rather than Omegalock.

It is possible that the total for the three could be circa £280-290.

    Are you buying the set?

iBot a couple of years ago said he was doing Overlord at the same time they were teasing their God Ginrai. Separately, Rodimus Prime was also brought up years before. We know we are getting Rodimus Prime now. He also confirmed Fembots and we are getting an Arcee and Elita 1. Whether we see them anytime soon is one thing but XTB LIKES leaders. I definitely see them doing Overlord at some point. I also wonder if they wouldn't step back into Star Saber as well. XTB/KFC has too many things almost done. We have got to start seeing a lot of consistent releases before this massive backlog has any hope of being a reality. That's a ton of prototypes.

Yes, I'm pretty sure I originally posted in this thread an image from a Chinese board showing ibot confirming they want to do Overlord once God Ginrai is done.

However, that was 2 or 3 years ago, plans can change and we're still waiting on Ginrai. But now that Deszaras is finally getting its release, should see some confirmation in the next year or so.

I think I am in for the set, yes.

I may however see what the set goes up for on TFS-Express and compare the pricing between that and Omegalock. Usually the more expensive stuff is a bit cheaper to order from China

I think BBB were cheaper than TFSExpress for Acoustic Wave but the latter got them out to customers a few days earlier.

I’ve looked on TFSExpress but they haven’t added P15&16, unless they have within the last couple of hours. BBB only have P-15 up.

I think with TFSExpress even when taking into account being collared for import vat/admin fees, the total is comparable to what Omega charge from the outset. Basically it’s worth going with TFSExpress to gamble on the order getting past customs. If it doesn’t you are not really worse off. Just have to deal with a slight delay to have the parcel clear customs.

I think BBB have got a system where in the main nearly all orders are swerving import vat/fees.

So far I have P-15 on PO with BBB. Hopefully both companies will get P-16 up and BBB will also put P-14 up for PO for me to consider.

Just looking through pics again and realised this guy has butterfly shoulder joints too:

    FB_IMG_1637793650843.jpg

No other way that left arm can be facing sideways without that.

@ibot make the hip skirts white too pretty please, at the very least. Both the toy and cartoon were all white (keep the red centre tho)

I will preface when I say "we know we are getting Rodimus Prime now" that is just ME reading the room and agreeing with others in XTB Ultra Magnus thread, not official confirmation.

At Botfest 2017, XTB confirmed Deathsaurus that we learned from the poster Zyros here had began design in Spring 2016 and also an Ultra Magnus suit for MP-10. No idea if that is the Deathsaurus we have now. Somewhere in that time on this and other platforms there was talk of God Ginrai and Rodimus Prime that went back to 2016/2017 around the time Simba appeared out of the blue and some of it I think made it here in various conversations. You can read my and Mobb One's posts on the first page of this thread from December 2018 to get the backstory to what I am saying. JHund on the second page actually has the blog post capture Mobb One is referencing about Overlord. I cannot remember the threads or platforms where previous conversations of Rodimus Prime occurred specifically.

At this same time as well there were a series of discussions back and forth with iBot and others about rumors. Some of it was in open threads but others had PMs with iBot on this and other platforms. iBot confirmed a bunch of figures including Fembots (Elita-1, Arcee) around the release of the original Junkions and tease of the others before FT Rouge. The speculation there is that KFC saw Fembots like Junkions that would have a lot of core consistencies with differences easily adapted for individual characters. At the same time there was also confirmation of some we likely never see like Astrotrain but others like Runabout and Runamuck did make it. Based on Blitzwing and Octane it seemed KFC most likely to make Astrotrain at the time. Broadside, Sandstorm, and Blurr were brought up but not confirmed with Perceptor that did make it ultimately.

We have also seen TFCon Chicago 2016 panels confirming XTB Powerglide, Brawn, and Outback but I think these have been long abandoned.

The frustrating part is trying to keep these together with iBot randomly appearing and a lot of PMs behind the scenes with others that get brought up in passing on this and other platforms. Its all easily understandable that everyone is just excited to get whatever information they can and its a a little too early in the process. At least with FT, dalianjj has always been specific with the few outstanding figures they have yet to confirm like Devy and the combiners (I believe FT goes through Predaking) and Sky Lynx that was April Fool's but I believe it fits in their wheel house. This thread tries to collect everything for XTB/KFC.

XTB / KFC Future Release Thread

It would be nice if something like this also existed for FT.

TFS-Express have the full set up for order now. Only looking like a £20 saving compared to Omegalock
