Yeah, I don't think they'd cancel it, maybe push it back a bit or put it out under Robot Paradise or something. It seems like they could both be coming next year.

Believe me when I say this, I don't think FT is concerned in the slightest.....if that picture is what we're going by.

Totally!! Except when they literally erase all their web presence, stop communicating, hide for 6 months and change the name of the company.

    A bold assertive land grab!

And it's not like it doesn't take 30 seconds to realize RB is FT.

MP-45+ Bumble 2.0++ Fumble bee? At least it looks a little better in alt mode. Still better than XtB's Todo. So their Hubcap might just be another MP-45+?

I would really like a new Wheeljack, I think getting the FT treatment and a little bit of height would work well.

I don't have the Takara, either version, but it looks so toy-like kinda like a deluxe chug not an MP.

Would you guys like taller car bots? Like a head to half and inch taller.

I'm fine with the current height but I think it's more the proportions that make them kind of look smaller to me, like lean bean proportions on TT Hound and TE Mirage (and probably the upcoming FT carbots) look more in tune and normal than stumpy dumpy TT Wheeljack. I think it has kind of a baby effect to it, with them being fat little dudes as opposed to how adult, more streamline proportions work.

Well, in all fairness, TT Wheeljack, Sideswipe and Bumblebee 1.0 were in the same league of MP-10. They were hyper realistic alt modes with slightly compromised bot modes. They weren't focusing on toon accuracy. Like the debate with some over RP Acoustic Wave and MP-13, it is a difference of time between releases. The newer designs are more refined. MP's were still somewhat in their early years and have since matured. Personally, TT designs (subjectively to me) are not on par with what 3rd party designs are doing. Transform Element and Deformation Space have some great designs so far, allbeit complex and lacking QC. But so does TT. MP-52 had issues for many. Do did MP-44, and it doesn't seem to be gettiing better. I'm not surprised to see FT finally taking on characters like Powerglide, Jazz and Mirage. Still, I dunno that I personally need to upgrade my Downbeat, Richtofen or TE-03.

Back to Wheeljack, he just falls into that older category. Earlier MP's are just showing their age.

Absolutely. I've never liked the car bots being so short, it's like Prime is a schoolteacher taking his students on a field trip or something. If FT started making them just a head shorter than Prime I'd love it.

Unless you are G1 collector, then scale is a multiple-choice exam where d) all the above is always an answer.

ex. Is DS Crimson Wing, MP-11, or MP-52 correctly scaled?

    a) DS Crimson Wing
    b) MP-11
    c) MP-52
    d) all the above because scale was all over the place depending on your reference material

except when you have people thinking the season one carbots should only be a head shorter than Prime, which is wrong, and has always been wrong, no matter what episode or scale chart you try to use to justify your opinion.

Shouldn't be waist level either. Dont think just a head shorter than prime but somewhere between that and tt height id be happier with. Im good with what i have tho
