    Me: Hasbro, please give us a fancy repaint of Optimus Primal I could repurpose as Shattered Glass version of the character.

    Hasbro: Here's Nemesis Primal in black color scheme traditional to Nemeses. :^)

    DBGT's Golden Great Ape was actually the initial inspiration. ;)  It's vallejo brass applied by hand.

    Do you have any first coat/in progress pics? I've seen a bunch of Optimus/Nemesis Primal customs where they dry brushed silver or white into the coat details, and I love it, but the gold looks killer!

    I have only one photo I have taken for my buddy after applying the first coat of paint, but there isn't much to see here. I've considered doing two shades of gold, but I liked how the colors popped with just one, so I kept it like that. IMG_20211111_114156638.jpg
