Don't care about Delta Magnus/SG Ultra Magnus/Diaclone Powered Convoy but the blue on the inner robot looks nice.

the top cover should be bigger to cover more of the opening.

Just got mine today from Show.z

Lets start by Saying Magnus V2 from Magic Square I %100 hated.. This I only %50 hate and the %50 I do like is the prime cab.

Whilst it works well as a trailer and as armour, they dont work well enough to justify splitting into 6 separate parts forming pieces. If I'm sacrificing it being a transformer then I don't expect to see hands where his shoulders are when armoured up. Why not include two extra pieces to act as covers, you already have the thighs as separate covers. If it was a single trailer piece that transformed and the hands were visible, cool you have to expect some drawbacks. With it being this much of a parts former, I don't think we should expect any.

For now.. MFT Magnus still reigns supreme for a legends collection.

So far, no paint issues. The colour paint and feel of the figure is excellent

It looks like this guy also suffered from paint chipping at the smoke stacks and right antenna.
My UM's left antenna also has little paint chipping, fortunately it's from the back. I'm worried that it may spread in the future as the paint seems to not stay quite well.

I think the back plate looks quite good but not a fan of the top covers. I don't like that you have to extend his neck and it looks too bulky in my opinion.

I'd rather have a better version of my squares. Like butt flap though.

I’m really enjoying this figure. Super fun to play with. But I am also someone who doesn’t take pictures of his figures. I feel like the flaws of this figure are a lot worse for those who like to take up close photographs.

Truck mode looks fantastic. No complaints at all on vehicle mode.

White Prime is not that bad as people make it out to be. The double chest for me kinda disappears in hand. It’s there but it isn’t as loud as the photos. The head sculpt is fantastic. The leg transformation is neat and different for a G1 prime figure. The upper torso isn’t bad but I find it to be a bit tight to move everything around to fit in place. The bumper rotate is the worst bit due to preventing it from clashing with the torso bits. I’m curious to see their regular Optimus and it’s changes. I would get another version of this UM based core Optimus mold.

Full armored Magnus is awesome but he is just shy of being near perfect. I don’t understand why they didn’t include extra panels to cover the fist or a plate for the butt flap. We already have the thigh bits so other part formy bits wouldn’t have been a problem. It would still be far from MS V2 level of annoying parts forming. I just enjoy that there is no parts left over and just sitting. It holds together really well. NA might get flak for the Devy body but you can shake the hell out of Devy and UM and they won’t fall apart. Articulation isn’t that compromised either.

    Overall it set is a 8.5 / 10

Is the a way to get the side abdomen pieces to stay in place? They rotate outwards slightly.

Some MP-44 comparisons with the White Prime. I’ll probably do more with the regular colored Optimus but this is a small taste.

I saw some comments about chipped paint... Is the figure suffering paint issues??.

I've been messing around with him quite a bit and haven't had any issues personally.
