And as I shared above what @Optimus_Prowl saw was close to the Tiny Turbo figure.

Either wat hope we see it eventually and I hope Yoloparks next figure is the Megatron that they teases

It's modified Bayverse Megs. Plus, that's similar what the guy who saw the test screening originally said it looked like: G1ish Megs with Bayverse detailing. Though, in a recent thread, he mentioned he doesn't remember it clearly and it may have been closer to the Tiny Turbo.

Which now begs the question, why did they make up this modified '07 Megs for the comic when they could have just used the Tiny Turbo design? My theory is that originally, art was commissioned to create a frozen Megatron that roughly had the shape of G1 Megs. The Tiny Turbo was proud based off of this design. Later, they probably added the details and it looked more like the design of '07 Megs (so it could fit into being a prequel). Eventually, when they considered this film as a reboot, they just removed this scene entirely. Though, I'm just guessing here.

 

My guess is that it's as simple as the motion comic designers just not being given the concept art for Megatron so they just gave 2007 Megatron a more G1 helmet; Bumblebee has his look from the post-credit scene (which wasn't in the 'prequel' version) and Soundwave has his look from the movie, so it's probable that the motion comic wasn't put together until after the film was completed and they weren't provided with the ultimately unused design.

 

We have a silhouette of him from a company working for Hasbro. Screen test is definitely not bayverse Megatron. G1 people just use that word to describe anything that doesn’t look cartoonishly blocky.

That's not even the design from the movie. It's a made up design by Yolopark. At least, it's not confirmed as being so nor does it look like the Tiny Turbo.

 

He counts. As long as I can recognise him as a Soundwave (in character and in appearance, but character matters the most) he's loved in this house.

 

You’re seriously going to use the tiny turbo as a reason it’s a made up design….. have you not seen a single other tiny turbo? They aren’t 1:1 statues lol.

There’s a reason yolopark hasn’t been allowed to show the design. Because it’s more than likely the one from the film.

 

It'll be interesting to see just how it looks once they finally reveal it and whether it bares any similarities, though I don't know whether they're not allowed or just choosing not to show it yet as also they've used silhouettes for the other characters who's designs we have seen.

 

Then why is Yolopark the only one producing this design? Hasbro would be quick to jump on this considering it's an escuse to make another Megatron. Plus, a BB Movie style Megatron to go with BB Movie Prime would sell like hotcakes. The fact that no other company is making this design makes me think it was made up by Yolopark. The actual design was probably never realized. The closest they probably got was some weird G1 Bayverse hybrid which they eventually axed.

 

Because they still can’t decide if it’s a reboot or not. The design exists, people fucking saw it. It simply can’t be shown off because Hasbro and paramount refuse to agree on if the movies are reboots or not so they don’t know what to do with Megatron. Same reason the decepticons won’t even be in the next movie. They won’t randomly make a toy of a design they don’t even know is canonical or not.

Why the hell would Hasbro be rushing to make a studio series toy of something no one has seen in a movie lol.

Same reason they made figures of dudes that showed up for like 2 seconds. You really think people wouldn't want this Megatron?

There's absolutely 0 evidence this Yolopark Megatron is the one from the movie. Not sure why you're dead set thinking it is. And if Hasbro doesn't want to make the figure due to the whole reboot/prequel thing you mentioned, why the hell would they allow Yolopark to make it? It's the same scenario.

 

All i can say about the yolopark is that it could be what i saw but we wont know until they fully reveal it.

 

You clearly have no idea how concept art is handled by companies when it’s purposely pulled and kept secret. They clearly don’t want the design out. Just like how movies that want to keep secrets purposely don’t let toy companies make their secret characters.

Again, doesn’t matter that people would buy it, Hasbro and paramount don’t know what to do with the character so they won’t make a toy of him. He didn’t appear in the movie at all so he wouldn’t go into studio series. As to why they supposedly allowed yolopark to make it, have you not noticed yolopark haven’t made it? There’s no figure, nothing but artwork on their end and a silhouette. A person at the convention yolopark showed the silhouette at, mentioned they had the design and one of the people there said they were Hoping the public would get to see it in 2021. Hasbro seems to be not allowing them to show it and probably made them delay development on it.

The design exists, rough or not, it’s out there. If it was a nothing design that didn’t mean anything, they wouldn’t be suppressing it so heavily.

 

If they truly trying to suppress this Yolopark design, then they wouldn't have given to Yolopark in the first place. It's simple as that. Hasbro isn't going to be like "Hey, here's the Megatron design. You can look at it, but you can't use it". It would have never made it to their hands nor would they have allowed them to release a silhouette.

I agree that there is a design that exists (or at least a vague concept). Though, it's most likely not the Yolopark one.

 

Then how come we have a turbo changer of this design? They could have sent the design over before any of their secrecy over it came into effect.

 

No idea if anybody has already posted it, but I noticed that the rifles of Brawn, Ratchet, Wheeljack and Soundwave seem to be designed after the Photon Rifle of the G1 Sideswipe mold:
