    Haha I remember Biffo vividly.
    Everyone’s opinion is going to be different just like most things.

    The feel of the show just felt wrong to me, some mansplaning going on etc but some of the segments were just crap.

    Yeah the inclusivity did bother me and does in general for stuff like this but not for reasons people may speculate or suggest.

    I certainly won’t be watching eps 2-5.

    But if others enjoy it, yeah nice one.

    Nice. Will look forward to you posting Devastator in due course.

    I’ve been thinking that about Iron Factory and the recent figures they have been knocking out. Quite stylised but nonetheless they do have the pedigree and skills to pull off decent figures even if they do deviate from the source material.

    Lovely stuff. Very enabling. Thank you for posting a photo of the alt mode. I nearly pulled the trigger on one of these from NBK. No idea where I would display. Would look good displayed with other transformers that have alt mode guns / weapons.

    It certainly is tempting.

    Impressive indeed.

    If anyone's interested, John Warden is in the new video on Adam Savage's Tested YouTube channel, talking about the Haslab Proton Pack.

    It won't be until Christmas for the first set as when it arrives I'll look at it to check everything's as it should be and then give my folks to put away until then. The final set with Hook and Long Haul isn't out yet either so that's going be some time in the New Year and I still haven't seen whether exo pants are going to be a requirement :D

    Even though the samurai themed tangent they have gone on recently hasn't quite been my cup of tea I still like Iron Factory for doing their own thing instead of trying to outdo Newage, Magic Square and MFT with original G1 based designs and I will be giving at least one of the samurai figures a go because it's Grimlock!

    I just watched Carrick's first press conference. He sounded vaguely alive which is par for the course :D

    Which is more than the captain who may have been trying to affect a look of intensity but it just made him look like a serial killer posing for a police mugshot :D

    @Danforth,
    I'm currently leaning towards the club making an offer to Paul Whitehouse to reprise the Ron Manager character.

    "Roy Keane in a park, jumpers for goalposts, kneecapping his team mate for looking at him a bit funny, Fergie looking the other way......marvellous!"

    'Arry Redknapp would be acceptable on the basis he's actually won a major trophy and does very good interviews whilst still sat in his car.

    Just don't get him involved in the club finances and his idiot son would have to be banned from the premises. As he would no doubt say, Triffic!

    These guys are Mega Construx figures. Basically they're too big, there's no 'normal' ones (just licensed characters), but they're the most readily available poseable figures that I know. They scale pretty well to MP carformers, but they look like giants next to most deluxe cars. They seem to go alright with Stockade, but they're still a little too big.

    I think most deluxe carformers are around the 1:35 scale mark, but I've had little luck finding decent figures at that scale. In the world of scale models 1:35 seems to be entirely WW2 based, so unless you want your heroic Autobots palling around with Wehrmacht Panzer crews it's not really an option.

    Me, I've been thinking of getting into 3D printing to make decent-scale figures, but it's quite an outlay so won't even start seriously thinking until the new year at least.

    Eh, they're acting more like MECH to be honest. Them guys loved their T-cogs.

    :(

    Consolevania was pretty ace.

    Not too bad sounds like a good result, Brendan. Glad to hear/read all this.

    I think this is it. I'll add Galvatron to my list of characters for whom I don't need an update.[IMG]

    @barry,
    Cheers, obviously there's still some work to be done on my part but it's not the worst thing, just part of getting older I guess.

    I do like the toy colours for Galvatron, I went with the purple metallic Newage one and I looked at their toy deco very closely as well but couldn't quite justify both.

    I know I'm not the first to say it, but this is the mold that should have been SG Megatron.

    I watched this on my phone and apart from it getting cheesy male presenter-wise I thought it was OK, certainly didn't feel like 40 minutes. McDonald is excellent as GM.

    Gotta say it's been hugely satisfying watching you work your way through this set to get to the combined form. Glad you're a fan of them, mate.
