I think someone briefly mentioned this in a prior post, but below is a link to the Feldherr foam insert (well, "coming soon," technically.) Feldherr foam set for HeroQuest Game System Mythic Tier | Feldherr Figure Cases free european shipping available I Store, Bags, Backpacks and Foam Tra
Well, we just played the first quest and it was as fun as I remembered. It was also interesting being Zargon this time around because my dad was Zargon while I was Conan (Barbarian). Funny enough, our friend who was playing the Barbarian also named him Conan. They barelly survived and were like, "And this was the first mission?" My wife chose to play the Warlock instead of the Wizard and outside of nearly dying quickly, it was a cool character.
The quest packs are available for preorder. Hero Quest Action Figures, Statues, Collectibles, and More! HeroQuest - Join the Epic Battle Between Good and Evil! - Entertainment Earth On Amazon too.
Where on Amazon? I type in hero quest and I get some sort of energy bar. I just want to see if they have the knight pack tehre.
Whoops, sorry, I only see the one, linked below. May they'll list Kellar's Keep later today. https://www.amazon.com/Hasbro-Gamin...M,B005S8KR6Q,B0761SP3W3,B013TRY0F6,B075SKKM2K
It's not a big deal and I knew things would get a retail release, if I'm bummed about anything with the Haslab is that it wasn't even a big box full of it all. Just everything thrown in and an extra box of the Mythic tier stuff on the side.
Looks like HaLab is really starting to cut corners lately. I was watching the Fwoosh review of the Rancor project this morning and apparently the tier bonuses are kind of a joke. Things like a Salacious B. Crumb figure that is available elsewhere, a Luke figure from 2 years ago and a cardboard backdrop.
Considering we got a deal on the cost compared to the retail versions, I'm okay with the way we get it. I also expect at some point Hasbro is going to sell the Mythic Teir pieces and quests on their own because there is no way they will not want to get their money's worth out of that dragon piece.
Some of my (old skool) HQ minis. I love how HQ is back but I still have the old version (and use D&D tiles instead of the board)
They're all Citadel/Games Workshop miniatures from the mid 80s-early 90s...all except the female in the second picture, which is from a tiny independent I can't recall.
Well this is a surprise. Entertainment Earth emailed me that the Knight set has shipped and is on its way. O_O
Hopefully this means sites will have it available to order since no one seems to have it for preorder anymore. No idea why it never went up on Pulse.
Ordered mine from Amazon and it should be here next week. So happy it's on it's way. But then I'm also so sad because of the price. I think back in the day that game was like $30!
