Well she’s clearly good at rust effects. Just hope it doesn’t make it pointlessly more expensive than it needs to be.

 

This guy keeps looking better and better. I think read somewhere that this guy probably won't be releasing towards the end of December. So it will probably Jan or Feb I'm guessing

From what we saw here,it's clearly that they didn't at a loose end during the pandemic.they must still be busy at their Galvatron project and this simultaneously.I remember they said that we can expect figures from previous trilogy in thread of Dragoon.consider they just do "leaders"(megatron,sentinal,optimus,lockdown) in the movies.It's no surprise at all that DOTM megatron would be their next project.felt like they were ready to remain silent for a while ,but AAT's ambush somehow disrupted their plan.So they had to rush this.

 

in the movie proper, did megs have the sand brown coloration or a mix between that and the drab olive?

 

Not really sure yet. Some coloration of characters can be very annoying......like I don't why we've never seen a silver shockwave.all versions of it are purple like G1.

 

 

All the G1 Soundwaves are blue, Studio series Soundwave are silver, and the 3p MPM Soundwave was silver. I’m confused.

Well not all of them, the Marvel one was Purple.


But even then that's in the minority even within G1. Cause obviously the cartoon and toy were blue, but even the Marvel UK comics had him as his toy blue with yellow visor rather than the purple version.

 

he was pretty consistently the beige colour with some panels more silver or burnt rust for variation

 

i sure hope they can nail this coloration for the release

I figured that's what you meant! But yes I agree, everyone who posts those pics of movieverse characters but in their G1 colors and immediately think that makes them better designs....

 

Well, he's meant to be purple in the film, but he's sooo desaturated he may as well be grey.

And in a see of just grey baddies (they even made Soundwave grey when a dark blue version of his car was available for them to use) colour would be very welcome.

 

Some people can't get over their obsession with G1.

 

These new photos seem to suggest he is less pear shaped now...I am confused   Only cuz I can't really afford to buy this and Mackron...and it's in the afford the space. Maybe...maybe both...maybe.
