Hey all, So I've shot some Astrophotography in the past just using my camera set up with a 30 sec exposure. However, I recently bought a Star Adventurer 2i star tracker. Anyone have any experience using one of these? And for the hell of it, here's some shots I've taken in the past:
Absolutely beautiful shots man. I love Astronomy. I love space, and looking at pictures like yours really makes me wonder how people think that out of all of existence, Earth is somehow the center of all it. Something else I like to about is the fact that despite light moves at such an incredible speed, the universe is so vast that it takes light from some objects millions, billions of years to reach us. Earth is meaningless amongst all of it, and our achievements? Nothing compared to the size and age of the universe. To think otherwise is to fail to comprehend just how large the universe really is.
A fuzzy shot of Jupiter and a couple moons, with my mobile phone on a Skyquest 6" Dobsonian with a 21mm eyepiece, from a light-polluted Chicago suburb: Same setup again (I think): This one is just the 10x optical zoom on the Hasselblad attachment to my Moto Z mobile: Nothing stunning like the top post, but they're mine. Need to go to dark sky and practice.
