Sorry, it’s not a dollhouse it’s just a doll trailer. And it’s really nicely painted but it falls apart.

Longshot but do any of you have an extra arm gun from one of the barons? I seem to have misplaced one.

So I got Hot Rod today and so far everything is alright. Right out of the box I had to fix how the windshield and dash were attached to the hinge, but otherwise, vehicle mode was good. The transformation wasn't too bad, especially sinc eI followed Emgo on it. The robot mode is holding together, definitely a lot of loose joints but floor polish should fix all of that. Once everything dries and I give the transformation another go-round, hopefully everything will be alright. I am keeping an eye on that diecast strut that supposedly snaps easily just to be sure. I do like him though, its a shame the QC has turned out the way that it has even though I have an okay, at the moment, copy.

Glad to hear of another that’s mostly fine. I think I will get one, but I am waiting for TCP to get their stock so I will have the option of returning it if I get a bad one. I love this line so much and it has been really great so far so it’s really upsetting to see one of its release be so plagued.

I also love this line. I haven't really had any issues with the previous 3 (Bulldog, Bumblebee, Barricade) except for some loose joints. Hopefully its the same here as well. It does suck though, especially because I was really looking forward to this one. WW2 Hot Rod had a cool design and I like the vehicle he turns into and it looked like this figure was doing it justice. Hopefully the joints tighten up and the strut holds and he'll be fairly solid.

Same here, aside from a couple loose joints and a bad neck on Starscream, I’ve had nothing but a positive experience with these. I’ve bought every release so far, multiples of Bulldog. I just love the designs and the paint. Nothing else out there like it.

Its too bad Hot Rod is a dud, and I think perhaps it was rushed production. I really don’t think the paint has any bearing on the current issues, as some have suggested. They’re five release in now, multiple repaints of most of them. This is the first time in this line there has been issues this bad and this widespread, so logic dictates it’s a problem unique to this release and I remain optimistic that future releases will be fine.

A TW Cliffjumper repaint I ordered from eBay a while ago finally arrived, and he's not that great. Articulation's not that great, the transformation is more frustrating than Hot Rod somehow. I think I'll leave him in his car mode (the main reason why I bought this figure to begin with), the tolerances are as bad as everyone said, and his accessories don't even fit properly into his hands. Paint-wise, he SLAYS along with Barricade & Hot Rod, but that's really the only other positive beside the car mode looks really good. Unless TW somehow turns it around with Jetfire going forward (which is unfortunately doubtful, considering TW's past), I think this will be my last purchase from this company.

Just got my Hotrod today! It's not good, but I'm quite lucky it's not broken, and the joints are fine. The only issue is a loose screw in the leg.

Now I'm trying to narrow the hole with rubber glue so that the screw can be tightened. I hope it works.

To my knowledge, Toyworld’s Wardog was meant to be an exclusive to a chinese convention, in China, sometime around Q4 of 2019. When Covid happened though, said convention was delayed, and the figure never saw release.

I was able to obtain one because a seller on AliExpress who specializes in Toyworld products, happened to get some in hand. How this happened I have no idea, but I have two theories.

    1. The seller simply was able to get ahold of some small stock(I bought the last one, another member here bought another.)

    2. The figure might see a “full” release like the other Bulldog repaints, and this was just a first batch trickling out.

Option 2 makes more sense, but a part of me still believes Option 1. That said, other then the “main” figures in this line US-based retailers pick up, it’s hard to get these figures period. Some might show up one day, might not. Until then I’m considering it an unreleased figure.

That explains why this guy has been so scarce. Sadly he might be the most desirable of the variants they didn't do wide releases on. I almost bought one of those myself and just debated too long- which I guess is good, otherwise you wouldn't have him. I certainly hope we get more shots at him. Pretty sure i want him, and coming close really reinforced that.

    He's beautiful!

Alrighty, wanted to give a bit of an update on my WW2 Hot Rod. For the most part, everything is good on him but I did have to do a decent amount of work on him. I certainly don't mind, especially since I own the thing, but you definitely shouldn't have to do so much to a figure. I used floor polish on many joints with most needing a few coats, I used super glue to help keep the pin holding the windshield in place, tried using super glue to tighten the ab crunch since floor polish wasn't working but even that didn't tighten it a whole lot, and I completely replace the screw holding the two halves of the crotch together with a longer and thicker screw since the crotch was splitting and the old screw wasn't doing it's job. Oh, and I glued in one of the headlights since it popped out and took me a couple of days to find and shaved down a small tab that you have to swing one of the wheels on a leg over. You have to bend the wheel a LOT normally to do it and I didn't feel like that would be good over time. The only real issues that I have now is still the ab crunch, which I don't think is gonna get better at this point, and the below-the-knee swivel is a bit loose on both legs but I'm still figuring out what to do there.

Despite all of that, and the work done, I do still enjoy the figure. He looks great in both modes and poses pretty good. Plus, despite some things definitely being annoying, I kinda like working on figures like that so it doesn't bother me a whole lot. I still fear that die-cast strut breaking though, whenever he gets transformed I'm very careful with that.

I got my Fierce Hot along with Alert a few days ago. Alert is pretty great. Fierce Hot has two floppy arms, but I'm hoping I can just tighten them up with Kiki. He also has two loose screws, one for the left door wing and one for one of the front bumper pieces. Hopefully I can just tighten those down once I find my small screwdrivers. Other than that, my copy is pretty good. It's really a shame the factory messed this up so badly because he's an incredible looking mold otherwise. I'm still kind of nervous about the diecast, so I don't expect I'll be transforming him too much, but he looks great on a shelf with the rest. My only complaint is that I wish there was one more locking point for the ab crunch and the hood.

I transformed Hot Rod for the first and last time today. The entire time it felt like something would break, and I had to tighten multiple screws. One shoulder and one foot are loose, knees are so tight that I feel they will break. Rubbish.

Looks good though. But the other offerings were a lot better quality wise.

It's nothing short of a miracle, but after 2 months from my complaint Show.Z's actually sent me a replacement for this piece of crap. They didn't write anything else though, so I'm not sure whether it's just the metallic strut, the whole torso or the entire figure. If it's just the strut, dis- and reassembly is going to be a pain.
