I did locate said Litwick on the GTS. However, I cannot get Alolan Marowak at that level. In the Let's Go games, the lowest level I can get Alolan Marowak at is level 38. In Sword/Shield, since I'm in post game I can only get it at level 60. If they change the level of the Marowak to 31-40, I can get them said Marowak immediately.

So I been resetting for about an hour trying to get a female piplup, I know the gender ratio is really low but is it possible to get a female starter?

From what I understood your starter usually is set as the same gender as the player.

The starters typically have a 88.14% chance to be male, 11.86% to be female.

I dunno if BD/SP would have changed it, but assuming they haven't changed the ratio, it should be possible to get a female starter. It's just a really low chance...

But I thought that flip around if you were a female player. It could have been a school yard rumor back in the day. I only played female once and that was back in Crystal when it released because it was the first game that featured selectable genders for the player.

As far as I know, the gender of the player character has never been a factor.

At last, the journey shall begin. We've just swept the Oreburgh Gym, on account of rock monsters hating getting wet, and we're heading through Eterna Forest right now.

    To cement my dedication to 'mons I have't used before, we've now left the penguin in the computer and carry on with this team right now;
Bugsy the Kricketune: Sing, Fury Cutter, Pound, Absorb
Slugsy the Shellos: Ancientpower, Water Pulse, Mud Slap, Recover
Bojack the Ponyta: Ember, Flame Charge, Tackle, Tail Whip

I started with Turtwig ( due to the roll of 3 20 sided dice) cleared oreburg and stopped in Floaroma town.

I was going to wait but due to having a monthly 5 dollars off at GameStop being a Premium member I picked up Brilliant Diamond. Pokemon Diamond was my very first Pokemon game as a child so it was a no brained which I was getting. To top it all off I had to pick my very first starter, Turtwig! So crazy journey across Sinnoh on a DS as a child to now a big screen television as an adult, I’m going to take my time and enjoy this nostalgic trip.

Still on the fence with this game. I have Pearl, Pearl was my first Pokemon game. I could just play Pearl, honestly the only thing different for me would be easier access to trade over gens 1-4 Pokemon to Home.

But then there's the thing that a lot of Pokemon I like are actually and always have been Diamond exlusives so I could have that new experience with it.

Will wait and see, might just sit on it and grab Legends Arceus when that releases.

Gardenia is defeated, her precious plants bug-bitten and embered. It's always funny to transition from adorable lil' chibis to a reasonably proportioned figure, like they're transforming ala some eldritch summon. We're rushing off now to face Maylene and Wake, and then onwards and upwards :)

The team is complete, and ready to face the world, the space dragon, even FEAR rattatas.

Bugsy the Kricketune: X-Scissor, Aerial Ace, Rock Smash, Bug Bite
Slugsy the Gastrodon: Ice Beam, Ancientpower, Recover, Water Pulse
Bojack the Ponyta: Stomp, Sunny Day, Solarbeam, Flamethrower
Morgan the Clefable: Dazzling Gleam, Solarbeam, Fire Blast, Thunderbolt
Gong the Bronzor: Extrasensory, Sunny Day, Solarbeam, Gyro Ball
Trigon the Spiritomb: Nasty Plot, Hex, Psychic, Hyper Beam

I hear people across the net were complaining about these remakes not including Platinum info or any kind of new story content.

I'd just like to point out...

FireRed and LeafGreen had new content because of a hardware change allowing you to get most of Gen 1 and 2 Pokemon in the Third Gen era of the GBA which couldn't happen before, that's why they added new content in the remakes.

HeartGold and SoulSilver also offer this handy dandy reason for the new material and other differences from the original titles.

AlphaSapphire and OmegaRuby allowed new generations to experience the GBA era and offered a chance to get some Pokemon in the new gen titles if you didn't have a GBA slot first gen DS to bring them forward.

So yes, perhaps these remakes should have included some new content and not just been 1:1 rehashes of the DS titles, but honestly, I'm not so sure there's justification in that for this Gen. The stuff added from Platinum would have been nice, but might have required the team working on these to be given permission to include that bit of info from GameFreak... or. it's possible that there are plans in a year to give us a Remake of Platinum so that the Remakes in future will be straight remakes of older gen titles with their next version being re-released to gouge more players out of money or something.

All I know is my dual pack is out for delivery and Amazon better have sent me the damn physical version I paid for or else, because I have precious little room left on my Switch right now for new games until I can get down to the one Wal-Mart in my city that still stocks 255 block SD cards. You'd think they'd have them at all the locations, but NOOOOOO, it has to be the one farthest from my home and work just to spite me. Motherfuckers.

I would not be surprised if they released sinnoh content as dlc or a separate game all together. Never underestimate Pokémon’s new ways to gouge money.
