Out of the loop, but is the toon Swoop with blue chest available by itself somewhere?

 

I don’t think so. I’ve looked and couldn’t find one for months so I ended up picking up this set for that very reason, a blue swoop. Lol

 

i'd be interested in your metallic set if you decide to go the toon route.  

so you just got this new "Christmas" re-release box set then?

it use to be available on it's own, but that was when the re-issue was first released. it may have gone scarce by now. i found this on TerryTFS though:

Thanks, TIK. I'll definitely keep you in mind. I LOVE the metallic dinos, don't get me wrong. The team's in great shape, with the exception of Slag, who has some paint issues on the face and is missing his dino horns.  

One of the issues I have with swapping them is my custom Paddles is based on the PotP Sludge, which matches the metallics a lot better than it does the toons. It's a real TF nerd problem..

 

that was actually cancelled and never released. prior to this there have only be 2 releases of swoop metallic blue and grey red.

 

Yeah, I couldn’t get my hands on the blue swoop so I sold off my old set with red swoop and got this new set with the blue one. It worked out in the end.  

 

blue toon swoop was sold in the re-issue set earlier this year that were individually boxed and not a boxset, along with a red swoop option as well. just not sure how many of the blue individual swoops were made available, if at all, without buying as a set. both TerryTFS and ShowZ clearly states blue toon swoop. on ShowZ, there's even a review posted with photos by @Galdelico.

indeed this was never released been saying preorder and 30 in stock for 1,5 year now, contacted Terry not too long after I started collecting for this and since he could not give me a release date, I got the red Swoop instead.

 

One seller on Taobao has it, that I saw, but the price is a third more than the usual price of 1 toon Dino.

Not all Taobao sellers selling the re-issued set that came out early this year were selling the blue Swoop individually, and those that did sold out not long after.

 

What're the odds we'll get a cerebros and the horrorcons ya figure?

 

We've all been asking that question since chromedome first dropped In 2018.. Being that Vecma studios was doing the headmasters with MFT, and after those last 3 were released Vecma and MFT parted ways, I'd say it'll be a while until we see them.

I really really want a Cerebros to join the crew and who knows, maybe they revisit the rest thru Mechanic studios. but as far as been announced there's blurr, Arcee, sunstreaker and while back a teased Soundwave (os ko?) so my UT Cerebros will have to make due until...

 

How long ago did they tease Soundwave? Hope it's the Magic Square mold 

 

Since they showed Trailbreaker to be the MS ko, it is save to say the Soundwave will be too, MFT will not let go of the KO market and I hope after MS release V2 Optimus they will do a KO of the V1 mold too.

 

That would be sweet, I'm holding on MS Trailbreaker and even thinking to get the blue one and call it a day. If the one from MFT is Os fine for me I'll get it. A KO at a 40$ mark of the Optimus v1 would be awesome too.

 

I'm new to mft-world so I had no clue they parted ways wth Vecma, man that blows! wait and see I guess, at least the did my favorite Autobot hm for me to hunt down!

Hopefully they do the full suite of Soundwave tapes. Might be a chance to snatch Rumble for all those that MS shafted with their limited issue. MFT have been quite prolific lately, they've pumped out Wreck-Gar, Hot Rod and Springer 2.0 in fairly quick succession, have reissued the Dinos and are re-issuing Starscream. I think Targetmaster Blur looks reasonably close.

 

I am fine knowing that I will not have a trailbreaker in my MS set up, so I will settle for the 1 in my MFT set up in the future.

Nice change to double up and it would be cool if MFT release Soundwave as a complete set, done with 1 buy  
Yeah Blur looks good, hope they do a new Kup because I can not get myself to it t buy the old mold, I already have that as Orion Pax.
Between MS and MFT too many good releases now, I can not keep up

 

Don't suppose you could post a pic of UT Cerebros next to the MFT bots? If the size isn't horrible I may grab one as a stand in...
