Different strokes for different folks. MPM Hide with the DNA Upgrade Kit really hits the spot. Though it's strange people have held on this long for a company that's been dead for well over a year now. Well, "dead" as far as we know.

I wonder if they are still going with a new name. I mean the new OS ss sentinel and OS starscreams just (no pun intended) screams Wei Jiang quality, but seems they are sticking to the old BMB/Weijiang os with minor improvements rather than big overhauls like black apple versions.

I have this version of OS IH and honestly happy with how it scales with MPM carbots and BA mpm04 (and now the new sentinel os :-D)

I'm sure if it gets "more confirmed" like more retailers opening pre-orders (just like with Thunder Leader now) mods will reopen the thread. For now it's just useless bumps

 

That barely even counted as news. It was half a step above "unfounded rumor".

 

Meanwhile definitely dead threads that get bumped remain unlocked and I get responses like “but discussions”

 

Yeah, so far Iacon Store is the only place that has a PO reorder/opened (which they were the first to do with TL) so we'll see. It definitely needs more info/confirmation for us to start saying he's happening besides hoping it happens from a rumor.

 

**Edit #2 Iacon actually messaged me again this AM and they have just told me that he mixed up BA Prime and Ironhide and that Ironhide has no release date at this time. So that's why I double checked that because it didn't sound right at all. Either way, I wanted to message them and see if they had any information about it, but didn't expect them to msg me again the next day and correct themselves. Lol*

I even linked the sales page and reiterated that it was the Black Apple/ WJ Ironhide that was thought to be cancelled.

So...take with a grain of salt because I even stated how surprised I was about the response. Has anyone else contacted Iacon store about this by chance? I know someone got a response from ShowZ that said they had no confirmation on it at the time. So I'm curious if someone else may have gotten a different response because that rep may have just been reading from what the computer screen told them. I even made sure it wasn't the BMB Ironhide because they already have it in stock and SZ is sold out.

Shame the other thread got closed because of too much horseplay. It was fun talking about this figure, but I do understand because a lot of the bumps were sort of off topic and comments/questions that have been posted over and over again that were answered 1-2 pages prior. I guess maybe I was trying to convince myself that if more and more people wanted it, the more likely it would be that we got it. To me, I feel like this was the last opportunity to get a fantastic IH figure because as time moves on with new characters and movies introduced, it will be way less likely to get made. But that's what I'm telling myself.

So anyway...just figured I'd drop by and mention this. It's not a confirmation, but next month is very specific and I'm wondering if "next month" is a default status or something. How would Iacon know that ShowZ will get it too? It's just too specific for me to have not shared, you know? Maybe someone else has a reality check for me.

Yeah, it was weird and now I know why. Iacon actually messaged me again about 24 hours later RIGHT after I made my post (I went to bed) and corrected himself and told me he mixed up Black Apple Prime and that Ironhide doesn't have a release date yet. I thought I was safe to post my chat in here with their answer but should have waited 1 more hour. I didn't mean to give anyone the wrong idea or post this as confirmation- I only try and bump the thread when others are posting in the same time frame as well. Either way, I wanted to message them since someone did ShowZ to see if they had any information.

I went back and edited my post with the correction as soon as I could. So basically square one. Anyway, I did just want to follow up and sort of apologize. I should have waited longer before posting because I had a feeling there was a definite issue with what they told me.

Yeah no reason to apologize for it your just excited and hoping like the rest of us it happens since BA Prime will be coming back out. I also hope Ironhide happens so badly. Just have to wait and see for more info - no matter how hard it is to wait.

ok I got a question for this figure... the back of the alt mode has an indentation for the autobot symbol.. but I don't know where I can get that part. Does anyone know where I can get that symbol for this figure? it is suboptimal to have that missing part :-/

 

It should have been included in the box, in a small bag. But I've heard of people receiving copies that are missing this extra.
