Wow!!! I didn't realize that probably Thunderking will have an ab crunch!!! Look at the HUGE ratchet joint in Thorilla's chest!

They're both the same. Just transformed differently.

 

Damn! They look pretty badass all together like that. Don't know what is worse, the hit on my wallet, or realizing how much shelf space will be needed to either display thunderking, or all of them in bot modes. Gotta go wide and tall, lol! Anybody have any recommendations on what shelves to use for this behemoth?

With the whole giant sword being in grey prototype form, hopefully that means we're getting better swords for everyone at some point.

I think they used that design instead of using a mishmash of finished and prototype weapons that form the sword.

 

Utterly fantastic. The team is nearly complete, can't wait to have them combined. It also makes me very interested in how their Dinobots/Volcanicus will turn out, once they release prototypes.

I think MMC's Assaultus was the only one to have it previously (Not sure if Zeta's had them). So this is a good trend. Next up; shoulder butterfly joints!

 

Zeta's "combiners" have ab crunch, but that doesn't count since they are pantsformers.

 

Headstrong has a rather dull neutral expression.

Was kinda hoping they'd give the wolves different robot head sculpts. I mean they managed to give them different feet.

 

Rhino looks awesome and ape looks fine too!
My biggest gripe is just the lion head design, if they could provide an alternate head sculpt would be just perfect.
Also the combiner head is a bit too small for my taste.

The thighs look a bit short and thin but I can easily over look them.

I care a lot less about their dinobots, as GP has made them wonderful and those designs drift too far from g1 transformers.

Btw folks, who is going to be the next release?

 

Lion head is a bit too bulky, at least for Razorclaw's robot mode, but I think it works for his beast and combo modes.

Guess they have to compromise somewhere

I wish they'd do something about his dinky little head, it's throwing the whole thing off. Not sure why they don't add an optional team member that transformers into a bigger bonce, since they've gone for the extravagant foot bots.

 

They should make a robot butterfly that transforms into a fedora for maximum cool.
