Now that people are getting the figure in hand, is it possible to do the alternate transformation from page 25 with the legs bent to make the jet mode more cohesive? If so, can one post a picture? Thanks!

I wasn't a big fan of the tank meg mold. Always thought the turret blade is way too clumsy in robot mode so I usually transform it without the weapon. But this color scheme is sth else. Yes, the alt mode is still, let's say not that great, but the paint detail, like the three red bars on the fusion cannon and that blue on the cannon is just on a new level. Loved that and now my SG prime has a worthy opponent.

These five SG toys are exclusive to Hasbro Pulse.

 

They are only exclusive at pulse with the comics. The figures themselves are available at different etailers.

 

To clarify a bit, these specific releases, including special cover variants of the Shattered Glass comic, are exclusive to Pulse. They've been found elsewhere without the comic.

Honestly, he just needs a fourth bonus piece to fill in gap. Maybe a shield that can wrap around the thighs in jet mode?

 

officially, the USA release is Pulse exclusive, any of them showing up at stores like Target in small quantities are shipping errors and them showing up at other etailers are imports.

 

Tbh, just add the turret blade to the fusion cannon as is transformed in the siege tank mold, and the hole between thighs is covered. It not only provides a way to store that awkward af weapon in the alt mold, but also gives you a big and long cannon.

 

I think it's just as simple as that they could do SG Megatron with minimal new tooling. Also since Hasbro owns SG now they don't have to use anything Funpub established if they don't want to.

 

Now? Hasbro always owned Shattered Glass. Every single piece of media that Funpub produced under license from Hasbro was and is Hasbro property.

 

The thing is, if I remembered it correctly, the original SG meg is just a retool of the energon megatron/galvatron mold. Which is 1) clearly inspired by G1 galvatron and 2) even called galvatron with the TT mall release. So apart from being cheap. I really don't see why they shouldn't be using galvatron mold, or better, the super megatron mold with a retooled head sculpt.
