Huh. Comparing the CG model and the toy, it looks like the toy's upper arms could use more gunmetal grey and the hands should be red. The piece where the Autobot symbol is could use some more white and the lower region of the thigh needs red.

(All the more reason why the Premium Finish line can keep going after its initial lineup maybe?)

 

It's not perfect but it's not worth double price for a few paint apps. I'm not that picky.

i really want hasbro to go in and give us a figure based on the concept arts for the bumblebee movie megatron, maybe one based on this art for the prime 1 studio statue?

IDK since SS doesn't do concept characters right now but I hope if SS ROTF VG Breakaway sells well in addition to us getting a Leader Class DOTM Warpath and maybe other VG Original characters we get maybe some concept art character or just characters they interpret into a movie-style like what they were doing for 07', ROTF, and HFTD. I'd love for a Knightverse/BBM style Megatron if not from Hasbro or even a 3p to do their take on a Knightverse Megatron in SS scale (but 3p really doesn't do CHUG scale anymore really). And I'd prefer it to be based on this fan art (which Megatank is basing their Megatron on).

 

I'd be fine with either. Although Megatron was in the movie, he got cut late. So I bet the model exists and is just secret. And I think those last pictures are the agreed look of the secret model.

 

Yeah, I wonder when that concept art is ever gonna be revealed, or is there a reason we haven't seen it? Hoping maybe we see it in ROTB maybe in a post-credit scene. Cause IDK why we haven't seen it yet when we've seen pretty much all of BBM's concept art

 

If Studio BBM does really well, they'll have to revisit Megatron I think.... They like money.

Yeah, and I wish we all could see it (pretty much the general audience) cause I'm sure it's amazing looking.

 

Was this for test audiences or something? I was the BB movie on sneak preview, like 3 weeks early, and never saw Megatron.

 

Test screenings it was when the other bayverse stuff were in it.

 

From what people said it looked like TF1 Megatron with a more g1ified look. Not exactly amazing or worth revisiting in my opinion

 

I'd still like to see how that looked would look interesting to see that design if anything.

 

We already know what he looked like. It's in the Bumblebee motion comic. It was confirmed by someone who saw the test screening.

 

Forgot about that. Still wouldn't mind SS to make they're own version of a BBM styled Megatron

 

These guys can not come soon enough.
