Yes, they too should let go because they should also know by now that the sequel probably wouldn't even have been about Unicron and thus would've resolved nothing.

I think some may calm down about wanting a sequel since a fan made sequel is being made by fans of the Bayverse with Rise Of Unicron while yes it not official and from Paramount/Hasbro and will not be or look as good as a big budget studio film CGI wise but it still looks great and better than most fan films by how good the models look like Prime

It really is especially when they made new designs for character like Prime or even new characters like that last one and Elita 1.

They may have me on ignore, who knows. I've noticed they do that a lot though, post a good response and they won't reply, like a few weeks back in this very thread with them saying that people need to be more self-aware while saying things that implied they needed to take their own advice. Its whatevs lol

A few months ago I attended a press event where I had the opportunity to ask a question from Brian Goldner. I asked: "What will happen to the current Hasbro-Paramount agreement? It comes to an end next year. Will you be extending it?"
Brian's answer was just "We'll see".

The agreement ends in November 2022.

Yet, ROTB got pushed to 2023. I'm assuming the agreement is to produce within 5 years and not bound to distribution/release.

This delay may even put the agreement extension in jeopardy; especially considering Mr. Goldner is not around. Since he was on the Board of Directors at Viacom (parent company of Paramount), there was always a possibility of extending. Not anymore. I'm guessing that we'll find out soon enough.

I came to look at some leaks, but holy shit!! This is just something else.

I don't know why folks here are so much obsessed with Scourge being Bayverse Prime. That entire series was f*cked anyways. Also we are not yet sure if this is implied on screen or off screen. Everything depends on the execution. Without looking at the final product, it is very difficult to say an idea is good or bad. I personally, think the idea is great and it means they are fully committed to a reboot now and atleast earth will not be Unicron.

Btw, it would be great if they made 2/3 movies out of this script and slow down the pace. Introducing Autobots, Maximals, Terracons, potentially Time Travel & Multiverse seems a bit too much for me. I remember Ramos stating at some point that he has contracts for multiple movies. If the reshoots and delay are for breaking up this script then it would be great.

Agreed. I, too, feel the same way about ROTB - and anytime someone doesn't go along with the mindset of just accepting what Paramount dishes out, there's always a vitriolic assault against a critical analysis of what these suits and ties keep creating, and how it clearly has ties to what they rehashed before. It makes no logical sense whatsoever how these highly-paid studio people think they can just keep making these asininely brain-necrotizing decisions. It's the equivalent of Nero not only fiddling while Rome is burning, but also Nero being responsible for setting fire to his own house, removing the water that could put the fire out, throwing himself into the fire, and then he and his devotees denying that they're all burning themselves to a crisp.

For the folks that can't stand a critical counterview of what they cherish so dearly, the ignore button is your friend, as Novaburnhilde and others have said. In closing, a tree can be determined by the fruit it bears-and until June 2023 arrives, folks like Autobot Burnout, Novaburnhilde, myself and others have every right to suspect said fruit is barren-especially when we see the rot and maggots all over it.

What most people have problem with isn't even the critical point of view. For me at least, what I have problem with is how some people here treat the leak as if it's actually real and act as if everything is set in stone. Being critical over any other factual aspects is understandable, but a leak that may as well be false? I'm sorry bud but there's no point in stressing over leak, especially when we don't know the credibility. Hey who know, the leak may be true or false, we have no mean to know the truth. My point is discussing leaks is cool and all, but we should treat any leaks with a grain of salt instead of treating it as if everything is set in stone.

Personally I don’t agree with anyone who is 100% certain that it will be either amazing or terrible just because we don’t know for sure if it will be good or not or if any of this stuff is true. I tend to agree with Burnout and Novaburnhilde so I’m definitely on the side of thinking this is likely to suck dongus, and there are already things we’ve seen that annoy me, but I can’t tell for sure if it’s going to suck or not.
