i didn’t even think about a masked head for Bluegrass. That would have been really cool, and made him a little less lame. Shit, throw in some wings too, and make him a (partly) real Silverhawk! Regardless of canon, I would have been down. But on the show, at least he got to pilot the Miraj, and he was voiced by Lion-o.
That thing is so well sculpted I like it. The hands look sick. Sometimes something is so bad it’s good. I do have a soft spot for the character having had the toy.
ok so we're down to the Copper Kid and these 4 so which one will he have with him.....Stargazer, Hotwing, Condor, or Flashback
Probably Stargazer... but I really want Flashback. Hotwing is cool too but Flashback is a fantastic design.
So, I just noticed they added optional shoulders to Steelwill for his lasers. Will they add those parts for Quicksilver and SteelHeart?
I wondered the same thing. I don't want permanent holes on the torso of those Wave 1 figures. Swappable shoulders are a better solution. He's talking about the shoulder part above the bicep. Steelwill has an extra set for plugging in the laser effects. Quicksilver and Steelheart have the laser effects, but no swappable shoulders. The effects ae intended to plug onto the torso, which means there is a hole there when not in use.
I'm just waiting for news of a Melodia figure. The worlds needs Filmation's favorite Pizazz/Lady Gaga fusion to be an action figure.
I only had Condor and Moon Stryker as a kid, both I got years later after the series was over. This was part of the Kenner purge at TRU. My brother had most of the rest from the startof the series. I loved the show but never really had any interest in going back into the toys as an adult. But gotta say...these Super7 figures are really, really tempting me.
I just noticed how much more cartoon accurate Steelwill and Bluegrass’s faces are compared to Quicksilver and Steelheart. Plus, Quicksilver only has one unmasked head. I hope Super7 goes back and updates Quicksilver and Steelheart’s faces now to be as cartoon accurate as Steelwill and Bluegrass are. Along with adding another head portrait to Quicksilver.
So, this is a new figure in the Mythic Legions line. It's relevant to this thread, because it is utilizing color-shift paint, which is what Brian Flynn talked about for the paint finish on SilverHawks. Note that it's just the purple parts of the dragon's skin. The blue parts are matte.
