Eventually Roman will lose the title and I'll be laughing my ass off.

 

After going through the Quarantine and the Pandemic, I have been thinking about training as a ref myself for many of the reasons you've mentioned. I can't do it now because I'm in the process of trying to career in daycare going. But once I have a stable position I'll look into training.

Great show so far. Have to comment about the Women's title match.

1. Tay has improved so much, she did great tonight. Needs a little more work in a few places but she'll get there.
2. Anna is a shit friend. How was she not out there at all?
3. Britt's reign (and booking a little bit) are starting to wear thin on me. She gets to kick out of everything and have Rebel Not Reba and Hayter helping. It's getting to be a bit much.
4. It's starting to feel like they're in a holding pattern, waiting for the Thunder Rosa rematch to switch the belt

Just finished as I couldn't watch live.

Kenny vs Hangman, Punk vs Eddie and Darby vs MJF were fire.

Also really enjoyed Bryan vs Miro, Lucha Bros vs FTR, SuperKliq vs Jurassic + Christian and Rosa/Shida vs Nyla/Hayter.

Wasn't into Inner Circle vs America Top Team although there wasn't anything wrong with it, just not interested in the feud and those sorts of matches are much of a muchness at this point.

Was expecting more from Cody and Pac vs Andrade and Black, felt more like a mid-feud TV match then something that should have been on a PPV. I think that Cody fatigue is starting to weigh down everything he is involved at this point, would be best if he takes a few months off and maybe focus on doing the PR/Celebrity stuff like the Shaq match for a while after.

Gotta agree that it's time to move the women's belt on Rosa. Britt is a great promo and character, but she's very hit and miss in-ring when it comes to the big matches and seeing the other ladies tearing it up on the pre show emphasised that. Plus at this point she's over enough not to need it anymore.

I'm pretty meh on Lethal but will never say no to Ishii, hope he's going to be around for a few weeks.

 

That and the Tay-KO. One of them, maybe, but both is too much.
If they were insistent on Tay hitting the DDT but it not finishing the match, they should have gone for a spot where one of Britt's entourage saves the match for her by grabbing her hand or foot and putting it on the rope. Match continues, protects the DD-Tay, furthers the overused idea that you're fighting more than one person when you're against Britt.

On another topic, Jay Lethal. I know he's good, but I can't say I'm excited. I get why they signed him and all but the news doesn't do anything for me. Also I hope TK did some proper vetting before signing him. Lethal's had a couple of accusations against him over the years and while nothing stuck/was substantiated enough, it'd be a bad look if something did come out.

 

I didnt get to watch but its cool as hell seeing people excited about wrestling and the results again instead of complaining about how wwe could have done it better.

I get that everyone has their opinions and nitpicks on the show and things to improve but man after a wwe payperview its like half the community here doesnt even watch and the other half wishes every match was booked differently. I dig seeing excitement and constructive criticism again and AEW has lit that fire for fans.

Will be cool to see how hanger as champ breaks up the elite friendships and if cole uses that opening to make way for the undisputed elite!
