Just got this from A3U.COM:

The news on Petrol - is we are waiting on the FP factory. They had to switch factories, and because of that delay we are waiting on them to rebuild, and then colour match the plastics.Then we are waiting for them to slot us in to their production schedule. It IS still a thing and will get done, it's just waiting on the factory to get things right.

 

I'm kind of bummed. I was going to slowly pick up the G2 bots from A3U, but had only gotten one so far. Now they're sold out of the G2 Dragstrip and there don't seem to be any on ebay or anything.

 

Are there scans/a pdf of the manuals for this set anywhere? I cant turn one up.

the fact this is still in the top 3 best chug menasors 10 years later amazes me

though we have only gotten 2 more since 2012 with one on the way

 

I could swear I've seen one, but I checked my files and don't have it saved. The instructions suck anyways, and a few spots are actually WRONG and would have you turn parts in the wrong direction, breaking them. Better to watch Youtube videos.

 

Honestly never even considered that, just pulled my boys out of storage and love em just as much as I did a decade ago haha

I have two of these ‘cos I love the combined mode and the individual figures. A cracking set.

Normally I would supply one, my phone isn't cooperating though.

 

I just looked at mine, and disassembled the gun--and I don't know what piece that is. Either need pic, or a longer description. How big is "small"? Like Dragstrip's gun small?

That's not any piece that's supposed to come off. I also don't recognize it nor did I spot it in combined mode.

 

After not touching this thing in box for a decade, I went to see if I could find that part. I can't see it. And transformation is just not as bad as compared to some stuff now. But it's worse now because the plastic is delicate. Already broke a two pieces.

It's been a decade since I first saw this post and to this day, nobody has EVER released a masquerade repaint.

 

Well it is possible it's not part of this set. I found it in the bags with the other parts. I was thinking it was an arm brace or something that helped keep a hand in place. Maybe for another combiner? I've sold so many of my 3P bots so I can't easily check.
