I still want an Evil Chaser honestly, she, Willa and the other Tree Village Girl would be awesome to get. Because seriously, there aren't enough females in the cast. As for what to expect from Wave 5... not sure. And I could have sworn the TCats molds were all in a new factory now, hence all the delays.
I think they’ll do the same thing that Mattel had planned for snarf: bundling him with child Lion-o. Are those Berbils yours too? If so, I’m envious! By the time I discovered his works, the figures were sold out…congrats! Yeah, I wanted this figure back in the day. It looks cool and er, dumb?! LOL!
I never pulled the trigger on his Berbils, although I had lots of chances. His Snarf is one of my prized possessions though, and I thought would be my final Snarf. Now he will eventually be replaced by S7.
I went through my email history from S7. Looks like recent preorders for ultimates have been going up between 12-1:30pm EST. Hopefully they are just running late, and they will still go up today.
Damn. Apparently S7 had a TC wave 5 preorder countdown that ended at 1pm EST. So after a year of no TC ultimates preorders, the latest one gets pushed again, and instead we get a tmnt tease? Getting so fed up with TC getting the shaft for TMNt.
@DukeFett posted this in the TMNT thread, but there’s interesting info in it regarding tcats as well: Brian said that the wave 5 tcats preorder delay was caused during the preorder image review by WB. They noticed a weapon that they were concerned was something that it was not. So they had to review what it was and re-approve. That’s complete now, and Brian said the preorder is going up next week. They are expecting to be able to show off test shots of the Thundertank in January. So it’s coming together. One other interesting fact, the red “mirror” lion-o figure that was teased was retooled to be pinless. If the extra lion-o I ordered for the Thundertank is not pinless, I may have to get this version and do some part swapping, if possible (might have to paint the boots). I’m sure they’ll release a pinless lion-o eventually, regardless.
WB is terrible. Won't let any DC toys have guns despite their characters using them throughout their own media. Just ridiculous that they even questions stuff about Thundercats.
I’ll bet the Lion-O reissue will be pin-less then. It makes me wonder about the Panthro reissue, Tygra, and Cheetara then…

You are correct it shoots as well. Definitely my most wanted Thundercat. Super7 probably had an effect on there.
Oh man, why is WB so strict about guns? Tbh the remaining TC figures I want don’t have firearms…but I feel for those that are affected. I passed on the Mafex Joker (DKR comic) because they cut his guns. Personally, I feel it’s a lame move because at times, the character is associated with a particular type of weapon and it feels incomplete if an accessory is missing.
