Skipping that one (Poxxus). It's effective, but... actually a little grosser than I want on a shelf, haha. Will get the various spellcasters, the big demon, and maaaaybe the dragon-head guy, though. Not sure on the latter one.
Damn I practically want this entire wave. All awesome, I'm surprised how much I like them all. I'll be in for an All In at least. Did anyone catch if the wizards are on 2.0 bodies? They look like it but wasn't sure. That's one of the few things I would like added to SourceHorsemen.com.
The dark and light wizards are on 2.0 bodies. You can see the light wizard's legs in one shot. I won't be getting the All-In, because I want the 2-Pack packaging.
Flying back from New Jersey at the moment. Intern for a day was amazing. Ridiculous creativity and talent at that studios and super nice people.
Who names these characters, anyway? I feel like that guy deserves a hard smack across the jaw for all the eyes strain and headaches he's caused over the years. Fuck that guy.
I dunno, I think Thraice Wraithhailer rolls off the tongue Sometimes the names seem to be based on Greek mythology, Christian demonology, etc., then sometimes the names are based off of someone's D&D character sheet from 7th grade.
I know Mythic Legions isn't reality based but as a historical arms and armor enthusiast, I appreciate that one of the figures displays lamellar armor that looks decently real world in design.
ok so..... Pestilence's White horse? Famine's Black horse War's Red horse so all that's left is the "Death's" Pale horse.....2024.....
i don't want a full skeleton horse, i'd want something closer to Darksiders Death's horse not quiet skeletal as much as a decayed corpse of a horse kinda like if it had it's skin removed and was just left to muscle fibers, that's what I'm hoping for. Also all of the other 3 have their own factions so i can't imagine they'd put the "Death" character into Necronomicus, however after looking at the recent figure shuffle i def see that as a possibility. I love the 3 bios so far even if all i grabbed were the horses lol Biography A fiery manifestation of war itself, Arethyr is a hellish storm of fury and violence. Atop his smoldering steed, Aethon, he charges into battle brandishing the Aetherblade, a mystical weapon that bore a key role in his return and once again burns furiously in its master's hands. With the Aetherblade's power to dematerialize the living and draw their souls to a dark plane, Arethyr is poised to reunite his malevolent siblings and lay waste to Mythoss once and for all. Biography Cold and calculating in nature, Illythia is the gracefully lethal personification of the eternal famine which curses her vampiric children. Whereas Arethyr’s rage is full of fire and fury, Illythia’s touch is decidedly icy and silent. After waiting in the shadows, her reunion with her long lost weapon The Soul Spiller has brought the apocalypse closer than ever. And just as Soul Spiller possesses the power to rob its victims of their life force, Illythia stands ready to drain the blood from Mythoss itself. Biography A terrifying visage of sickness and decay, the spiteful god Poxxus is pestilence incarnate. Dripping with disease and crackling with menace, the horrific sight of Poxxus alone is enough to inspire dread. Armed once again with his deadly bow, The Plaguesayer, Poxxus can fire off hordes of infectious insects with every pull of his string. Triumphantly riding atop his rotting horse Phlogeus, Poxxus travels the roads of Mythoss with the intention of poisoning the realm and all those that live within.
They don't even have a fully skeletal skeleton! Let's be realistic; it has to be somewhat solid in order to house the engineering and be sturdy enough to support the rider. Also, "pale" means green, according to the stream. It's funny. I'm all-in on this 4 Horsemen concept, yet the figures can barely pull it off. My fully winged up Arethyr did not like to stay on Aethon's back. I enjoy them more in his 2-Pack Packaging.
They were very cool, generous hosts and the other interns were great too. Chill vibe. People passionate about their work and the fans passionate about their hobby. Zero complaints, other than having to leave before the weekend convention started.
