Seems more like someone was complaining calling the Arcee mold masculine and people said that it was plenty feminine. Now it looks like the same who said it was feminine are calling it androgynous.

I think it looks feminine and I never will complain about that. It's not like G1 Arcee or even the original TFP in build but that can only be a good thing when it comes to being a Transformer. Only way those designs get a faithful recreation is with nontransforming figures. And more bots that can be interpreted as ladies are always fine with me.

 

Hey Hasbro, there's oodles of WfC/Legacy Insecticons, Waspinator, and Dinobots retools/redecos that you could market to Target for that Buzzworthy line. Remember when you fake teased a Glyph and Tap-Out? Well, we still want them. Also if you're listening, 2-packs work better for me than 4-packs.

And you know, I still want a Bumblebee/Goldbug as a golden beetle if you're (p)retooling Legacy Bombshell. Trust me, kids love Bumblebee and kids love bugs.

C'mon Hasbro, you're already making figures for Marvel's What If? and Loki show. Ask us what nifty new variants of Transformers we'd all like to buy and then do a fan poll to narrow it down.

 

I’m getting a little nervous on a potential Blackarachnia reissue… with Tigatron and Scorponok getting clearer reveals, nothing else has been shown to come along with them. And the only other leaks are for Terrorsaur, Tarantulas, K-9, and Cybershark… I’m not sure where Blackarachnia would fit as I doubt Hasbro would just release her by herself

I have Siege Ironhide and Ratchet, and they're good enough for me, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't interested in this.

I'd be totally down for that, I'd also be down if they did another Crosshairs out of him as an Earth mode version. No, it wouldn't be G1 accurate but I like the idea of Crosshairs sharing that body type a lot.

 

I clearly made a mistake buying the Amazon two packs…

 

Feel you there, mate. Managed to snag the Prowl/Ironhide for fairly cheap ($100 instead of $200+) and then got the Paradron Medics for $150 at a convention... Only for them to drop on Amazon and other sites for about $75 within the next two days, so with this news? As a good reviewer said, pain.

But, also have to remind myself that, like the TF Slag Podcast has said, these characters have copyright/trademarked names. Every 5 years or so, there needs to be a refresh of some kind to that name, or Hasbro loses it (which is also why they use "converts in # steps" instead of "transforms.") So while we'll always see names like Optimus Prime, Megatron, Bumblebee, etc. every year, other characters like Devastator will eventually need a new toy for refresh reasons. Honestly why I'm holding off on getting CW/UW Devastator, in the hopes that SS86 or Legacy will eventually give us one.

Also, odd to see that they've not tacked on the whole "Trilogy" dynamic to Legacy. It makes me feel like they're done with the trilogy gimmick as it's gotten mixed results these past few years, be it with the figures or distribution quality. (To clarify, I've loved the WFC trilogy, even some of the figure people hate from the line.) Sticking with just "Legacy" makes me feel like it's more akin to what it used to be, the name of the line itself, like Classics, Universe, and Generations.

 

If we do get a Legacy Towline, especially as something other than a simple GenSelects repaint, he needs to be able to do the centaur mode, both as just a play feature for him alone, and compatibility with hopeful future updates to the energon autobots with who are still able to do the shirt/pants modes

 

I wouldn't expect a new Devastator for a while, considering they just recently released the studio series version with the boxset last year, and it doesn't have to be a transforming figure to renew trademarks, non-transforming merchandise works just as well for that purpose.

 

Well then, anyone wanna buy er Rachet and Ironhide off me?
